Hi Ed. It's been an absolute pleasure seeing all your albums. The video cleared a few things up for me. I have that same love letters LP with that sleeve on the tan label and was unsure of the release date plus recently I bought a sealed copy of promised land from an eBay seller to find that it had Not for sale, promo use only embossed on the front corner, I was unsure if it was official as I had never saw a promo marking like it before. It's good to see that you have a few albums like that. It was also on the tan label. Cya
I've start my collection back january '56 to '80s whith an total of 94 records,i got then in my country Venezuela and my trips to u.s.a also i have some CDs not all.i'm glad with the friend with an complete collection.congratulations
The 1956-77 releases is where I focus just about all of my vinyl collecting so this video was right in my wheelhouse! I don't have a recent release (FTDs, Friday Music, etc) collection in your league but I have about 350 copies of the 56-77 releases.
I wonder if Elvis knew that he had nearly 100 albums put out in his lifetime? That's an incredible accomplishment! He's had at least 200 or more releases since 1956. Now you can see why so much jealousy from Beatles and MJ fans.
Enjoyed the trip through the vinyl. Lots of familiar covers there, to be sure. Say what you will about the songs on a lot of these, to me nothing beats an Elvis record, especially sealed albums. Thank you!!

Google says it's over 400 different album releases in the united states and no one knows the exact sales of these 400 albums released including the RCA, riaa, or the Elvis Presley estate.
@@TheKingsCourt1972 yea his sales figures is hard to understand but from what I've read is that he has the most record sales worldwide with 1.5 billion records to date which is more than the Beatles. Elvis also holds the record for most gold, platinum, and multiplatinum records sold. But his album sales in the united states the riaa has only accumulated 129 million album sales from 184 of the 400 plus albums released and 162 million albums sold worldwide. So he is third in the united states behind Garth Brooks and the Beatles in accumulated album sales.
Going through your collection causes one to "hear" songs as they pass by. Though I realize they're worth a lot of money, in my opinion, these albums are priceless. One question; Why no Japanese or Australian editions?
I ran into some interesting German pressings of Elvis LPM -1382, Golden Records LPM-1382. The black RCA Victor labels have no indication of being pressed in German bu there is a stamper indicating "Manufactured in Germany". Any ideas?
I am laughing at you (in a nice way) calling the names of each album, saying ELVIS in such a reverent way, pause, then the title. This was only for the first few minutes, then you did it slightly differently. One fan always recognises another by the way we say his name😊😊❤❤❤

Have MANY more than a measly 3 copies of the Best Album Ever, Having Fun With Elvis Onstage…The other copies are locked away in the vault.

Do you collect artifacts other than his music?
Depends. Mostly stuff from when he was alive. Not the “Collectibles” post death.
