So let me make sure I'm understanding this video correctly. The secret to using the Devastation Doctrine correctly is to have Iron Reapers switch to flail WHILE they're in battle, not switch to flail BEFORE you charge them into battle?
@@Matthias-tc4ec It’s a special doctrine that was only available to excavate for a limited time, and it was meant for units that deal blunt damage as their main damage (Mace Sergeants, Tseregs, Iron Reapers, etc.). But really, Iron Reapers were the only unit that could truly use it effectively.

Ranged spam noobs will give them free stacks all the time. So they don't need to take that much melee damage to get the buffs active.
What Veterancy line did you use for Iron Reapers?
I don't remember tbh. Probably some mix of bottom + mid + top. But currently I'm running multihit from mid + heal + rest in top

Nah, there is no secret. The flail switch is just an interesting side effect. You have to charge with flails anyways to get the bonuses.

Paladins suck ass lol. Cav is alwawys going to be good but they are much worse with the modao spam that's been going on
