All those who transferred after sabans retirement are going to regret it. CKD is building on the program big time. Saban built a program not a team an deboer is expanding that program. This team is not going to miss a beat will be top team from day one. Just a matter of time for more titles. Bama is not dropping. They are holding level and maybe if not rising a bit. I'm a life long Bama fan but a new offensive and defensive scheme with new coaches on both sides of the ball. 1st year will be a learning year. If we don't miss a beat,we didn't need Saban👍 I just don't see that!

Alabama has done a great job pulling in high ranked players! We will not know if they are to the Standard for 2 years! But I love what I see happening!!!
Not true. We will know if they are to the standard in the Fall for the 2024 kids and in the Spring for the early enrollment. Many freshman will be in the rotation with considerable playing time.

Yeah cause deboer is continuing greatness and he is young, so it is showing we will be great for yrs to come with nonreal drop off. At least with saban they knew his time was growing short. Deboer comes in and carries on at top level and has 20 yrs easy😊
They'll be back to being a national powerhouse a lot sooner than expected? Heck, when were they not...just last year they made it to the playoffs and took the eventual national champions into 2 OTs.
The fact they are in the top ten is incredible after the poaching when Saban retired. Being 1 or 2 is literally incredible.
I think we’re going to make history this year. I hate the fact that we did lose who we loss, but at the same time we will recover.
One great thing about us recruiting this well is that we get a really up close and personal look at our future competition before they even transfer.

Yep, Bama's 2023 team was their worst since the 2010 team that lost three games. But they still went 12-1 and made the four-team playoff.

I will say though, this class is weighted with skill players and O line. I’m happy with that because we have a fairly young D line. If we get D linemen in next class, we should be good going forward. I’m concerned about the defense upfront years down the road.
I'm one of those Bama fans that questioned Kalen Deboer's recruiting abilities in the SEC. Offensively he is knocking it out od the park. But he is an offensive guy. I still have concerns with his recruiting on the defensive side. Maybe I'm still looking through my Saban goggles but defense wins championships. I don't see a Bama defense under Deboer as strong as what we Bama fans are used too. Just my 2 cents..

Coach DeBoer is Rolling and he hasn't even got ramped up yet. When his history of winning translates to Alabama wins, it's only gonna get better. I never had any doubt in Coach DeBoer, heck the man has lost 12 games in his life. He's a winner. Alabama's infrastructure didn't retire with GOAT Saben so these results are the expectation. So great class for Coach Deboer, but I feel the 2017 class is the standard when it comes to the Crimson Tide.
Greatest recruiting Year of all time. I called it when he was hired said he was the one look what he did with the recruiting at Washington on the Plainville. Think what he’s gonna do now. You could say it’s the greatest first year head coach recruiting of all time…any school.

CKD is on fire. I’m not saying he will do better than Saban, but he connects to players in ways Saban didn’t. Alabama may struggle on defense some, but their offense is going to scorch defenses.

Bond & Downs are elite and got their $1M bag. Don’t know if that was promised or given the chance at Bama. They’ll be great at TX & OSU. Bama’s lost elite players before thru graduation or early NFL deals. We’re still loaded & our recruits will be developed and have every chance to be elite. CFP finals loaded & elite.

Its not the coach in this Situation is the program. The program is what recruited those boys. They came to Alabama because of the name of the program, not the coach, they're putting trust in the coach, but if he don't do s***, then guess what He will mess with the stock of alabama's capabilities of Recruiting

Best recruiting season/class ? No ! Alabama is the most accomplished program in college football history and all of us expect no worse than an A- offensive class as long as CKD is here . On the other hand , Alabama has lost the advantage it had under CNS on the defensive side of the ball . Simply put , the script has flipped and clearly shows , at tis point , at Safety and DL . Plus , the in-state recruiting has obviously taken a couple of steps backwards . That said , NSD is a long way off .

Coach DeBoer’s recruiting has been amazing and I’m not surprised. I knew he would excel at Alabama if fans and media just gave him a fair chance. He has proven his ability to recruit and of course he has been much more successful recruiting for the Alabama brand than he was at other places. I feel so lucky and thank our amazing AD Greg Byrne for hiring Coach DeBoer. I expect him to be at Alabama for a couple of decades or more. Great recruiter, great coach and great human being - it doesn’t get any better than that. I have to believe his recruiting success might be the best ever for a first year coach at any program! 🏈 ROLL TIDE 🏈

DeBoer is tops. That is why he was picked. Saban had it harder because Bama was not the standard. Saban made it the standard. Let me break it down for you. I would rather have a running Ferrari than a car needing a new transmission. BUT, DeBoer is lethal. He will be a great coach, period. We will make the playoffs this year. Roll Tide
