I always admired Laura for her bravery and courage to leave what she loved. To find another home in another state and a community that loves you and has your back.
Thank you for doing this amazing interview! I have always been a fan of Laura Osnes, ever since I first heard her as Bonnie in Bonnie & Clyde. She was, and still is, one of my all-time favorite performers. When all of this happened, I felt so sorry for her and so enraged on her behalf - the phrase "it couldn't have happened to a nicer person" is generally used in a sarcastic way, but in this case, it's absolutely true. I was SHOCKED how such a seemingly genuine, kindhearted, beloved-by-all individual could be on the receiving end of such vicious unrelenting vitriol. Granted - celebrity culture has made me wary in terms of assuming the characters of people that I don't personally know, so I was sadly prepared to be let down again. But I have to admit, this one probably would have upset me more than any past disappointment had. Then when I read the response she published, my admiration for her grew so much stronger. I'd always admired her talent and her character (from what I could see), and I'd always hoped that her faith was as true as it appeared - it's rare to find a faithful person, especially in the entertainment industry, whose heart matches what their words say these days. Now I can say with certainty that it absolutely is - I'm so glad she stood her ground, and I'm so SO happy to see how God has continued to bless her and her family since. Her and Nate's courage in the face of what could easily be considered a nightmare scenario for anyone has inspired me so much. I pray that the path ahead of them - in terms of career, and otherwise - is just filled with joy and abundance and the peace of knowing God has His hand on their life. Always.
I’m so sorry that this great couple had to go through this unkindness. We all have trauma from the crazies who yelled at us because we used common sense to resist group think. You are both so talented and I respect and admire the courage you display. 😊
Breaks my heart what she went through. I know Laura is very private with her personal life. Been a fan since GREASE: YOU'RE THE ONE THAT I WANT. Her performance of JESUS CHRIST SUPERSTAR still is a highlight. Lucky to have seen her in CINDERELLA on Broadway and met her a few times. She's sooooo lovely.
Great interview! I am also someone who is vaccinated, but respect anyone's choice as to what they put into their body. (As I know several people who are unvaccinated.) So sorry about what happened to both Laura and Nathan with the very public vitriol and cancellation. As a culture we have lost the ability to understand nuance and people being multifaceted, as well as any room for civil discourse.
I’ve always admired Laura as a performer but her grace over the last few years has just increased that! Always a class act and one of the sweetest people.
I am so glad to see her moving forward through the tough times. She continues to inspire people through testimony. She and Nate are great role models for these times.
Thanks! Hope you've subscribed as we are shooting more like this all the time! And we would love to hear if there is someone specific you'd like to see on the show!
As informed people know, the vaccine didn't prevent anyone from catching covid or infecting others. So your silly comment about 'not caring' is completely irrelevant.
She's not going to salvage her theater career with crap like this. Too bad about that. She is extremely talented, but she destroyed her own career. Good luck to her.
She is amazingly talented! And in the 2nd part of the conversation, she talked about what she is doing now. More than just theater. This has opened some crazy new doors for her! You can listen here. Laura Osnes: Finding Light in the Darkness th-cam.com/video/UvISTPAfzTw/w-d-xo.html

Thanks for doing this! So good. Love them.
Great peeps!

Laura and her husband Nate are definitely class acts! We were so grateful they were willing to come hang out with us!

She’s lovely xx
Laura you're gorgeous and super talented ❤ It'll be great to see you in Blacked. I can't wait 🖤
“The big pitcher”
Wow I love these young adults so well thought out so introspective
We love you LAURA. I wouldn’t have gotten the vaccine but I wasn’t as strong as you were!
I honestly wonder how people this clueless get through their days.
Clueless in what standpoint?
@@thebigpictureBrettCraig I think you mean "from what" standpoint.
"Still proudly unvaccinated." So you still don't care about the people around you? Got it.
Thanks for watching! We are looking for more perspectives to bring on the show. If you have any suggestions, we would love to hear them!

Jesus would have been vaccinated
Not if he were a female wanting to have kids 😳
Curious what makes you say this? Can you expound?
😂
Nice cancel culture comment. Did you even listen to their interview and see how they’ve been treated.
What man is still wearing skinny jeans that are literally saranwrapped at the ankles? Where do these people come from ?
What person would be so cruel as to go out of their way to attack someone like this?
@@thebigpictureBrettCraig is it an attack to ask who’s still wearing skinny jeans ? I’d like to know (who’s still wearing them and why)
@@johnraneanier3852Man, what a childish mean girl attitude.
