    She’s such a lovely person. So sorry she experienced all that pain. We just love her and wish her joy and happiness. “Keep singing Laura because we just need you to sing.” 💞

    Been a fan since Grease “Your the One That I Want” and loved her in South Pacific, Bonnie and Clyde, her princess parties, her concert performances, and her Hallmark movie. I remember when those negative reviews came out I couldn’t believe it. She didn’t deserve what happened to her and this interview shows the beautiful person she has always been.

    Planning to book tickets to shiners in Nashville and found this interview. I am sorry for the challenges you faced just for staying true to yourself. Now I definitely have to see this show in Nashville!

    I wish he wouldn't have interrupted her and allowed her to speak more on how her "cancelling" happened, when the friends stopped calling, what they said about her to others, what her agent said, when the offers stopped coming, etc. I hope Laura realizes that none of those Broadway bullies, big mouths, and phonies were ever her friend. It's typical entertainment industry superficiality; they love you when you're on top, but never when you're down. SHE won because she stayed true to herself. It's Broadway that lost because it no longer has its most beautiful voice.

    Dear Laura, finding this interview with you this morning was the best Christmas gift I could have received. I have been employed as a professional in the entertainment industry for over 40 years and experienced the same loss as you for my views on a mandate. Many friends lost. Lots of hurt. Our Lord answered my prayer and placed me in a new position, one I never would have dreamed of, and still in the industry, but in a healthy environment. The loss is still difficult but trusting in Gods bigger plan for us is the way to healing. Thanks for your positive attitude, words of wisdom and inspiration. Merry Christmas

    She has all of my support. I, too, have had consequences from not buying into the "this will save humanity" inoculation. I have a sister whose life will never be the same because of severe adverse effects from one dose. We know too many people with clotting issues now and too many friends whose teenage sons have had heart issues. She is incredibly intelligent to want to wait for some results.
    And yes, she has the voice and the heart of an angel. May God bless her.

    Dear Laura, I have followed you for some time. To me, you will always be Cinderella! (Cannot cancel that!) You have been given a beautiful gift from God and you will succeed! Praying for continued healing through this, and comfort to know that there are many of us see you...hear you! You are still loved! Keep singing!

    Great interview. Much love to Laura. Simply the best. 💯❤! Terrible what she had to go through. So glad she made it to (on) the other side. Can’t wait for part 2, 3, 4 and more. Oh, and go see, Shiners! in Nashville. Such a fun show!

    I'd love to support Laura's music if she came near my state! I'm a big fan of musical theater and I absolutely love listening to the Cinderella album. Please come to Oklahoma soon! Don't stop fighting!

    God bless Laura Osness and her husband. One of the most disheartening things that I've come to learn about Broadway is that it is one of the most intolerant communities in America. It is filled with people whose unbridled talent is matched by their unbridled ignorance. I guess it shouldn't be so surprising as these are people who make their living being told what to do and what to say, which makes them so easily conformist and compliant. Of course, they see it as simply being more enlightened and morally superior.

    She's awesome. My wife and I and went to see Bonnie & Clyde and she was awesome in it. I've seen some of her other performances and she's super talented. Honestly with her beauty and talent she should be a major Hollywood star but I guess she doesn't want to compromise her integrity working with those sleazy Weinstein types. In any case she's right to stand by her beliefs and not bow to the Brandon types.

    I love Laura's voice and her talent. I'm sorry her beliefs basically got her kicked out of the community. I am still on the fence about vaccines. So I can kind of see where she's coming from.

    Broadway is a hive mind, and every musical since Bandstand has been either safe, pushes an agenda, or comes from an empty place.
    Podcast host Clifton Duncan shared a story with her about how Stephen Sondheim told donors at a benefit how glad he was there were no Republicans in their industry. The signs were there, but it took the "Protocols" to give me the stones to distance myself from those hypocrites.

    Broadway is a hyper-competitive space where 100 people are waiting to take your place for any reason. Laura will be remembered as the Wally Pipp of Broadway. Wally was replaced in the lineup one day by Lou Gehrig who started the next 2,130 consecutive games for the Yankees. I fail to see how she was "cancelled" more than conservatives cancelled The (formerly Dixie) Chicks. My uncle always had an answer when people asked to put political signs in the windows of his restaurant: "Sorry, both democrats and republicans like my chicken dinners"

    This is an interview that really does just confirm she doesn’t understand. It’s not live and let live. It’s live and let die.
    It is not my body my choice. It’s subjecting your body to others.

      It's you who doesn't get it. There are many in the entertainment industry who are against what is going on. Who carry fake vax cards and know if they speak up they will loose everything. Cancel Culture is wrong. And those in the entertainment industry most especially are not in any position to judge anyone.

    • @xxtalamanderxx
      @xxtalamanderxx ปีที่แล้ว +1

      What gives you the right to demand what someone else puts into their body? Ever? ESPECIALLY when the vaccine's efficacy is questionable at best and side-effects are still largely unknown?
      And if that vaccine works so well, why do you care so much that other people get it?

    Laura is one of the best talent in broadway but her actions and her activism doesnt fit to broadway people. theres a ton of evidence of her anti vax statement. Broadway is family and can u imagine to put your family in danger is selfish. Leave ur beliefs at home
    And she expect broadway to say sorry for her? THATS SPEAKS KAREN

      Don't assume things I am sorry you thunk that. Don't believe all the lies spread on the Internet. I believe she wants an apology from all the people calling her a Karen for making the PERSONAL decision to not get vaccinated.

    • @leanie1440
      @leanie1440 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes, they are basically a cult. You must be in lock step with their opinions. You absolutely can not be a free thinker. And you absolutely can not be a Christian. Oh and learn the meaning behind the use of the name KAREN

    • @brifleming7835
      @brifleming7835 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No. it speaks of your opinion of which you have the right to express. But you apparently didn't listen, or listen carefully to what Laura said. Maybe you ought to take another careful, unemotional, listening to her side of the story. Or do you feel that you don't need to listen to what she actually said?
