Missing Wii error: Swirled BSOD Rarity:Ultra rare Usually means your console is bricked, you can't boot it up, so you *NEED* to buy a new Wii. Happens for unknown reasons.
There's another version of the BSoD Rarity: Easy-Very Hard Cause: Usually a broken component, mostly screen, and it's followed by a popping sound from the speaker. It means a part on the 3DS needs to be repaired or replaced.
That version of BSoD occurs when the system detects a hardware failure IIRC, it'll refuse to boot if it finds an issue. Its usually the speaker cable, it develops a micro tear thanks in part to the opening and closing of the system. The repair is tedious but it can be done, a mate repaired my launch year 3DS when it developed the issue.
theres a error on my 3DS XL that me and my frend sheare that has a problem the speakers can play a glitchy sound that eneyone has had happen my frend seys i dont proply remember what my frend seys :when the speakers go almost silent close the 3ds wait a few seconds then open it back up i feel like somethings wrong i think becuse how old the system is
My 2nd xl had a busted red wire and ribbon cable on the left shoulder, and the pad that kepted it together. When I turn it on, it lights up, but when it tryes to turn on the top screen, it pops and light goes out. Gotta get it fixed :(
Actually, an error similar to the system crash where the screen turns black outside the message on the bottom appears if you do not close the software in the game card before removing the game card.
I got that error with a second-hand 3ds + a second-hand game and it was new super Mario bros 2 when I was right about to finish the secret exit level in world mushroom the error appeared but the game card was not out
What about : "an error has occurred, please save the data of the software currently in use, and restart the system. " Or "the save data is corrupt and will be initialized"? (That's what happens when you preorder a game and play it day one... Always wait for patches, kids! It saves datas, and Pokémon!)

1:13, Can also happen if the console is dead or there's water damage.... 3:10, That's supposed to be a 6, not a 5. 1:53 - 1:56, There's that car again....
I’ve gotten the game card error once (the one where there is something wrong with it) when I was playing Kirby Mass Attack, apparently I spilled a liquid on it and when I beat a mini game (Kirby’s Pinball) the game stopped and the error for the game where it says the game has been corrupted and every save file has been deleted appeared and when I tried to turn off the console because it told me to do that, the “an error has occurred” error happened, I was young so it scared me, but now I keep my game cards even more safe then normal.
That must've sucked I had the same thing happen to me when my friend acciddently got water on my New Nintendo 3ds XL a 2 years ago, it had an error message no matter how many things I tried to do to fix it so I sent it to Nintendo and they sent it back after a month and a half fixed but eventually started freezing the longer I played it regardless if I turned it on and off and now my warranty is expired :'(
3:11 - This also occurs if you try to launch a Wii Shop Channel download game that's been purchased on another Wii Console and transferred to your own one via SD Card. However, there are workarounds but the process can be slow, tricky and nearly always risky. (Seriously! If you screw up even once, your Wii will be bricked and so, YOU WILL LOSE EVERYTHING!)
1:20 Bit more of a precise meaning behind this screen This happens for 2 reasons: 1: (most common especially if you damage the 3ds) the camera, WiFi Module or Microphone is disconnected Fix: Reconnect the cable 2: Signituare checks have failed (very rare) happens usually after people have installed a custom Language pack (from out of region) or home menu and then uninstalls CFW, meaning the console is now checking if the Signituare are valid. It detects they are not, and therefore, simply halts the boot process Fix: you need to use a DS flashcard in NTRBOOT mode, flashed with the B9SInstaller or another CFW Installer. I would assume, in this case, it is the first one, as the second one dosent usually play the home screen music.
I have encountered a few errors on the new 3ds. First one is when I tried playing the "nope.avi" video on loop with subtitles. Second is when I installed FreakyHax, but forgot to put the "starter" folder's documents in the root of the SD card. Third is by messing around a semi-loaded chunk (loaded/pretty much functional, but remains invisible) in Minecraft. Fourth is that at rare times the console freezes (I recall having this with Minecraft while exploring laggy areas/internet browser on a very weak Wi-Fi). I think the console freezing and the subtitle loop error could be due to my modded console, but the two others happened before it got modded
For anyone wondering why that guys system went to system update, my best guess is it went to recovery mode and was prompting a reinstall of bad files, but it was probably a hardware error.
My old pink 3ds I got when I was 5 *im 9 now* and I still have it now every time I try to turn it on it turns on but turns black and doesn’t Turn on again.
The "This channel can't be used" error is actually pretty easy to get. All you have to do is install WADs that are from another region (for example, your console is PAL but you install a WAD that is NTSC)
Also, when you try to open “Nintendo zone”, an error message will appear that says something along the lines of “This service has been discontinued. Thank You for using the service.”
end it says 2:09 top left and then it says 0:10 bottom right. This is where most people quit but i brighten the screen to barely see 4:11 bottom left and when you go there you see 1:52 top right. What you see is the yellow car that i have no idea is but fans of this guy do.
I once had a weird error with my N3DS. I powered it on, and I got a BSoD. The strange thing about it was that the yellow LED would flash on and off rythmically. My 3DS is modded, so I was able to flash a NAND backup and it was fine. I can't find anyone else who had this specific error (with the WiFi flashing on and off).
I have a modded 3ds and got the first error in the strangest way possible. I went to the FBI app, and then went to Titles. I had noticed that Mario Party: Island Tour was in the list, I didn't actually have the game though. I opened the title through the app. It turns out that it was a Download Play Demo that somehow hadn't been deleted. There was nothing I could do. It just loaded until it said a communication error occurred. When I clicked the home button it said I was in Download Play. I decided to do a little experiment. I had gone back to the demo through the FBI app, and opened the Rosilina Menu. I set the demo to the app that loaded the Homebrew Launcher. I had exited the app and then reopened it. This is where it gets strange. The startup screen breifly showed, and then the Homebrew startup screen flashed for a second, and then the screen flashed various colors. The Download Play screen had finally shown up and then it crashed and showed the second version of the first error. I tried to replicate this error, but failed. It just booted the Homebrew Launcher like it should have.
Missing Wii error: The Startup Disc Rarity: ultra rare (impossible to get these days) It happens randomly. When there is a new Wii update, the launch models need to get a Startup Disc. Or, you will have to buy a brand new Wii. (The Startup Disc is also still a mystery. Because there is NOBODY on earth that has a Startup Disc.)
Chaziz yup. My DS has basically healed, (may rice be the savior of all electronics) but my camera is fried and I can't use it anymore. It also takes an few tries to get my console's screen to work.
I feel bad. I thought I lost my Xbox One because I accidentally spilt milk on it. After a few days of draining it, I could use it again. I still use it today.
There's also a Blue Screen Of Death that, as far as I know, only happens on modded consoles, since you can go into the SysNAND and modify it. I think the only way to fix it is by going back into the SysNAND and reverting your changes, or by restoring a back-up of your SysNAND. Otherwise it's dead.
The BSoD (black screen of death) happened to me too But without music My friend said it happened to them before but eventually turned on but mine did not and now I had to watch it suffer until dead (I could have just not look at it but I could not keep my eyes off of my 3DS)

1. Miiverse error Difficulty: Very easy 1. You know that Miiverse is already shut down right. When you go to the Miiverse. You notice that it has a error occurred saying that it has ended
2:06- It has one alternative: it needs a custom cartridge, and using the switch built in it, using to read NAND. You can install the boot and rename the original. This if the console is modded, if it’s not, you need to unlock the nand to dump it to the sd card via exploit.
About the Black screen of Death error on the 3DS. If there's sound, and you can launch the system update screen from the button combination on Boot, that means your HOME Menu files are corrupted. If your 3DS is modded, you can fix this with GM9. If it's stock firmware then the best thing to do perform a factory reset. But first boot your 3DS without the SD card and see if the HOME Menu appears.
I've pretty much gotten all the errors, i'm almost 14 and i've owned two 3ds's, one from 2011 i got in 2015, and a 3ds xl that is broken that is from 2012.
I still have my 3DS even after Nintendo stopped making it! I’ve had it since 2016! (I know that is late, I lived in Maryland and there were not a lot of 3DS’ for sale here.)
There another error code that says on a 3ds is " The devices access to the online server is ristricted by nintendo " it mean they were hacking something from a homebrew rom
i sometimes have it where i'm on youtube on my old 3ds xl and at random... it say in error has occurred and need to restart....like it head the the home menu and restarts
0:12 can be triggered by unplugging the game cartridge and plugging it back in really quickly while its starting 1:11 can be triggered by not being careful with homebrew
The black screen happened to me when I found it after months being lost in my stepsister's closet so I can finally play Animal Crossing: New Leaf again. I plugged it in the charger, turned it on, nothing. The light was red, which meant it's charging. The light was only working. Nothing else. I tried showing it to my stepmom, but it turned on without any problem. It was weird. This was a true story btw

1:11 that happend to me 2 times with my 3ds xl… but thankfully it still works… i think it was an error… but at least after the black screen of death my 3ds xl still works…
fun fact: modded 3ds consoles(might also be on normal ones) have an error where if you remove the cartridge while the 3ds splash is happening, you'll get a fun little error on the bottom that says "The game cartridge was removed. Press any button to reboot."
Just to add on to the black screen of death, if your 3ds DOES survive some how, it will take longer to boot up (as far as I know, this may be false so take this with a bit of salt) I have a 3ds that went though this and survived so there is a chance for it to survive if anyone is wanting to know, feel free to correct me about anything :]

@@coelacanth1343 Pulling the power cable too hard? That might not do it, but it'd definitely get it to stop charging since it can break the solder on the port (which I did do before).

There's another version of the BSoD
Rarity: Easy-Very Hard
Cause: Usually a broken component, mostly screen, and it's followed by a popping sound from the speaker. It means a part on the 3DS needs to be repaired or replaced.
My 3ds has bsod
That version of BSoD occurs when the system detects a hardware failure IIRC, it'll refuse to boot if it finds an issue.
Its usually the speaker cable, it develops a micro tear thanks in part to the opening and closing of the system. The repair is tedious but it can be done, a mate repaired my launch year 3DS when it developed the issue.
theres a error on my 3DS XL that me and my frend sheare that has a problem
the speakers can play a glitchy sound that eneyone has had happen
my frend seys i dont proply remember what my frend seys :when the speakers go almost silent close the 3ds wait a few seconds then open it back up i feel like somethings wrong i think becuse how old the system is
also i got it one Christmas day
My 2nd xl had a busted red wire and ribbon cable on the left shoulder, and the pad that kepted it together.

THAT FUCKING YELLOW EVO REEEEEEEEEEEEEE
First You Mentioned Happened In My Nintendo Switch
I think it's just that the wad region DOESNT match with the wii region.
What about youtube crashing when trying to watch certain videos
That happens to me also, every time I watch a video, it crashes every time.
That's a problem with the app not an actual 3ds error
It happened on my switch I tried to watch a video and poof! The software closed because an error occurred
I know how to solve the black screen on boot, you gotta delete your region's theme extdata folder in your SD card.
*hackerman*
0:46 You could trigger that error using a blocked flashcard (like an old R4 in older hardwares (pre-themes update as I know))
1:20 Bit more of a precise meaning behind this screen
This happens for 2 reasons:
1: (most common especially if you damage the 3ds) the camera, WiFi Module or Microphone is disconnected
Fix: Reconnect the cable
2: Signituare checks have failed (very rare) happens usually after people have installed a custom Language pack (from out of region) or home menu and then uninstalls CFW, meaning the console is now checking if the Signituare are valid. It detects they are not, and therefore, simply halts the boot process
Fix: you need to use a DS flashcard in NTRBOOT mode, flashed with the B9SInstaller or another CFW Installer.
I would assume, in this case, it is the first one, as the second one dosent usually play the home screen music.
0:52 for me, for some reason i like this error screen.
The first error can also occur from malfunctioning hardware, as I found out when i didn't reconnect the camera ribbon cables correctly.
3:48 WHOA nice smooth transition to error
S m o o t h
The 3DS eShop new error is here, R.I.P Nintendo 3DS 2011-2023. it will forever remain in our 3DS and Wii U home but not working. :(

My old pink 3ds I got when I was 5 *im 9 now* and I still have it now every time I try to turn it on it turns on but turns black and doesn’t
Turn on again.
The "This channel can't be used" error is actually pretty easy to get. All you have to do is install WADs that are from another region (for example, your console is PAL but you install a WAD that is NTSC)
I'm not gonna lie, the second error literally happened on one of my old phones.
Also, when you try to open “Nintendo zone”, an error message will appear that says something along the lines of “This service has been discontinued. Thank You for using the service.”
Hol' up, that's not quite right, since it works for me without any problems
That’s strange, because Nintendo discontinued service for it in 2016 (North America) and 2018 (Europe and Japan).
I think I know a location where it might work, still, where got
my Nintendo zone app originally
Many browser say you can still use it so probably your region doesn’t work with it

1:20 My New 3ds have this too but i cant toch the Screen ???
3:24 this error can also appear if the file installed is from a different region meaning it has region-lock

Oh yeah or you could also hardmod it to flash a back-up of the SysNAND if you can't access any of the CFW or if it's not modded.
