The world of _Sky_ has honestly become a sanctuary for me these past few years. Between the pandemic, the increasing isolation by my family, the passing of a close companion, and the hundreds of miles of distance between me and the few people who actually _care_ about me, it's been a painfully lonely time to be alive -- but when things felt bleaker than I could stand, I saw the announcement of the Season of Aurora, and decided to keep going. When the music of 'Queendom' finally swelled up across the Coliseum, and I found myself surrounded by thousands of kindred spirits, I broke down in tears. Thank you so much, TGC, for saving me from my own darkness -- and thank you for giving us five years in this wonderful world.
The most important person in my life passed away before the aurora encore and it made me cry too. No matter how lonely it gets, know you are not truly alone. There’s other sky kids getting through life with you :)
I had completed the entire game using the artbook as I uncovered the making of sky cotl and I said before I got to the core of the megabird “Thanks for everything sky”

Happy 5th birthday Sky! 💜 This has truly been an amazing experience so far, from watching streamers playing light awaits, excited that Android release had been announced, to getting onto the beta programme, helping to support the community and friends I had started making through Sky, then live launched and it felt so alive. The official Facebook group was created, and I joined, eager to share my experiences so far, and was selected to become a moderator, to this day. The community team are an amazing set of people, who are incredibly passionate about Sky's values of community, humanity, and genuine connection. The creation of the Creator Troupe extended that family so much, and thanks to that I feel so connected to the amazing community Sky fosters. Some friends left, and some returned, I've heard the most touching, and heartbreaking stories from the community of their own struggles, and how Sky has become a refuge, and for some a metaphor for life, and in one particular case, the death of a loved one. Thank you @thatgamecompany for all of the highs, lows, tears, heartbreak, and joy that Sky has brought. 💜
