There was an article in the times about this and the people who work at Disneyland who live in their car as well. My father-in-law from Taiwan took one of these tests. He became a doctor.

IMO The Turkish motivation in this case is not so much anti-Kurd as it is pro-Turkmen. The Turkmen are descendants of Turkish-speaking peoples who found themselves on the wrong side of the Turkish border formed during the collapse of the Ottoman Empire. Though partially Arabized and having some cultural differences from main line Turks in Turkiye, they tended to see themselves as part of the Turkish people, and resented being ruled from Damascus. And the Turks proper also tended to see them as part of the Turkish people. During the last round of the Syrian Civil War, Erdogan's policy was to provide air support and munitions to Turkmen fighters. In this round Turkmen are part of the Turkish-backed coalition that defeated al-Assad's Alawites. The thru line is that Erdogan continued to provide support. Whatever comes now, the Turkmen position in Syria is somewhat improved relative to what it was prior. If the coalition can now set up a stable government, then the Turkmen as a part of the coalition will have a larger say in its affairs than they did in the previous Alawite-led regime. And if they can't form a stable government and the country fall into chaos, then the Turkmen can retreat to their own ethnic regions and have more autonomy for themselves.
The Chinese Classics possess enormous spiritual depth which is comprehended via individual status. The conditions of the exams were partly life threatening to promote authenticity and originality. Depending on the ruling interpretation of those books , applicants faced a cruel dilemma. In Nanjing the applicants were confined to small spaces- wooden boxes- inside which they had to think. I fundamentally think that South Korea has experienced many military repressions in the past, and the most important repression is in the Gwangju Incident. and these experiments are probably the basis of South Korean democracy.
