Top works with welder. You just need to do it in the other order. Tap top to draw and in response, weld it.
The pick at 12:56 was shocking to me, but I am also 100% sure it is just all the LSV cube videos have skewed my mind towards the other card.
I had the same thought. It's always cool to see two world class players have differing approaches.
It’s funny because nummy was the original academy lover. Regardless I think academy was the pick there. Minsc is great but academy allows you to do broken things that no other card can. Especially with the cards he had at that point.

Absolutely nuts to take the minsc over academy there imo. But what do I know...
Syr Ginger would have been fun with this deck too I think. Pretty easy to pump it up (even infinite size with lotus/salvagers combo)

In pack 3 - Brain Freeze wouldda been good with the salvagers combo, also IMHO Academy is better than Boo here
Did he throw away the win at 29min? Couldn't he have cast the coveted jewel into tinker for blightsteel??
Serra paragon with that lotus also should be considered.

Funny if you would’ve played jewel before conceding to preserve info, you would’ve drawn into tinker and could’ve tinkered jewel away for blightsteel and you might win.
I was screaming about Zirda! Woke the neighbor's cat and I screamed at it too
too bad he didnt use a viable deck and then removed it at 30 minutes, we were all excited for the zirda
