As somebody who works in a pawnshop that sells guns more than anything, this feels relatable. It’s wild the amount of people who’ll come in with no knowledge of guns looking to buy one with the state of the world. I’m just glad I’m able to educate them on basics and give them real advice, I stop going for a sale and start trying to genuinely help them along the journey.
I had one lady tell me she wants a gun with a safety on it so she can leave it on her nightstand so her kids can’t mess with it and I told her that’s not a good idea and she needs a locking box to put it in or a safe. Then she tells me that she is partially deaf and wouldn’t hear if someone did break in so I stopped recommending a gun to her and recommended a home security system lol.

You’ve probably seen more legit cases of people not being to rack a slides or disengage the slide lock, but from my perspective when I bought my first gun, I was more just scared to break the damn thing.
As a first time buyer not knowing how durable a gun is, I felt like I was handling porcelain tea cups in the gun shop. The salesman was kinda joking with me about me not being able to disengage the slide lock.
Once I purchased my first gun and practiced with it, I noticed for me It wasn’t a problem of hand strength, but comfortability with the guns durability.
Thanks for that perspective I’ve never really thought about that.

My first gun ever was a Marlin .22 that my dad got me for Christmas (over my mom's objections), followed by a Springfield 1911 the next Christmas. But the next three I bought with my own money. A Mauser K98, back when Mausers were dirt cheap, and two blackpowder revolvers, an 1860 Army and Colt Walker. I'm interested in an 1861 Navy, as my uncle had bought my grandpa an 1851 Navy, but neither ever shot it. (And to be honest, it still sits brand new, unfired, in the box).
I don’t know anything bout guns but I found this quite interesting didn’t know there were so many types 😮 you’re voice is also very calming to listen to
if only the gun man in gta talked to me this way, maybe i wouldn’t have gotten 3 stars worth of police on my ass

Hey Dylan 👊 great relaxing video, man. That didn't surprise me what you said about Sig in the beginning. A lot of people like them. I personally don't have any issues with them. I love Glocks just because they're reliable and easy to maintain. I also actually like the look of them, whereas lots of people think they're ugly, lol!
I like Glock and they are definitely reliable I just wish they were innovating more like other companies

I’m blessed that it is doing as well as it is so quickly. It’s a great chill spot to come in and hang out for people which you can’t really do in a big gunstore so I think that is helping with business

U got ur hands on the sig 365 fuse? It’s pretty new but is abt the size of my glock 19 but skinner and has more aggressive slide serrations
I’ve sold a few already. I really like it instead of carrying around around a big full sized gun. It has the same capacity as most full sized guns but it’s a lot lighter and thinner so I love it

How many guns does the average American have?
According to google there are 120 guns per 100 people in America. That being said most people I know who are into guns have around 20-50 guns per person.

I edc my Glock 19 and it conceals pretty well. I love it honestly. But having shot a few pistols, Glock does have a heavy slide. It’s a compromise lol

opinions on CZ guns?
If you are talking about the ones around 500 bucks They are overall good guns. If you’re talking about the black and blue, orange or the dwx, they are very nice guns and incredibly smooth guns.
@@Dylanman22ASMR Thanks, I'm thinking about getting a license and a firearm. CZ is local for me, so It's good to know they're good. I also have been thinking about Beretta, but maybe some time later.
@bohemiankaiser976 you can’t go wrong with either of them honestly but I would just go with the CZ for now
I have a Beretta 92XI Squalo and a CZ 75 TS2 and while I love both, the CZ is just on another level (it's also about $500 more than the Beretta), but the ergonomics on CZ pistols are ridiculously good, just go to your local shop and hold one, you'll see what I'm talking about immediately. You really can't go wrong with either a CZ or Beretta -- both make excellent pistols and you won't regret purchasing either.
What is the firearm to the top left of you in the video. Looks interesting, idk if ive ever seen it before?
On the thumbnails left side is the Ruger SFAR chambered in 308 and on my left is the Henry lever action chambered in 45-70

Opinion on me getting my ffa license and a gunsmithing degree
There really isn’t that much money to be made in a gunstore, you have to be passionate about guns. On average you will have hundreds of thousands of dollars in inventory and only make about 100 dollars per gun. I don’t know if that is worth it to you but it is a lot of fun talking guns with people all day

I like the sig sauer p365 the best right now. Nice and concealed size while still having a good capacity
I’m a bit of a boomer with my EDC. I’ve always been a revolver man. I know all the modern arguments against this but it’s like I tell my customers, the best handgun for you is the one you’re most comfortable with.

I really like the hellcat pro. The regular hellcat tends to be pretty snappy while it is in its break in period
@@Dylanman22ASMR my first handgun and got the hellcat pro and i live in california so 10 rd mag and love it so far pretty steady and smooth when i am at the range
