the stuff we have here in the states doesn't have the heat activated adhesive, I did a Jackson guitar with it and it was very difficult to get to stick without it. looks killer but you would have to put the iron on it for over 30 seconds to stick. having said that I just purchased some from the provided link and it should be a much easier time for another project I have coming together.

I'm in the middle of using some Holoflash I bought off Etsy (as I type) but it won't transfer? Not from the same seller you posted the link for though. It don't have a yellow back... just looks like a duller version of the front flashy side?

What you've likely bought is a holographic foil designed for paper transfer. There's a few different types. The paper transfer type wont transfer by heat in this regard but is more likely used for glue transfers - typically done with fingernails and stuff but can also be done on a larger scale with benches and theoretically guitar tops as well.
The stuff I've linked is designed specifically to heat and bond to painted and clear coat surfaces.

I did a Jackson guitar with that type I got off etsy here in the US and it was a pain, I got it to work but it wasn't very cooperative. This stuff with the backing looks Amazing and I picked some up and will report how it went when it comes from down under.

      How many watts?

The Iron is a Birch Mini Crafting Iron. It's a 25 watt iron with a 4inch/10cm plate.

    Super cool!
Do you know where I can get this material in Europe?
Also, if I want to try out different patterns or don't like the result, is there a way to remove the holoflash again?

Hey there mate! I've got a link in the description that ships everywhere globally! To remove it, you can simply sand it off, but you may have the unintended consequence of taking some of the clear coat with it. The holoflash material and the adhesive that activates with the heat on the back of the foil is pretty damn strong. You can scrape at it with a fingernail but it's just going to scratch it and not take entire sections off.

What it's the name of that holoflash material and where can I find it?
