    I love reading the comments by folks using this for junk journals. You made a two-fer (two things out of one thing), even if it wasn't your plan in the beginning. This is so cute and so easy to make. I suggest stuffing it with zinnia seeds - they seem to grow anywhere for a season.

    I got a birthday card from my sister-in-law who is a card maker/scrapbooker. I took it apart and kept the elements to use in my art journal and mixed media! I felt bad at first because she put so much work into the card. But then I thought, I would rather someone reuse what I give them rather than throw it away!

    As a cardmaker, I love that idea. So easy and yet so chic! And even another way to use my Pegstamps (that you convinced me I needed!!! LOL) I"ll have to bookmark this video until I get the folding and cutting fixed in my old brain!!

    Hi, Lindsay!
    Your cards are so much fun and so different from anything else out there. :)
    I suggest using seed packets for herbs or for flowers that are native to the area.
    Cheers!

    These are beautiful! I don't buy patterned paper anymore, but I admit to running my local store out of that paper pack before I made my vow lol :) I really like the seed packet idea, I can see some Mother's day projects in my future!~

    Lindsay, you make me wanna cry with joy!!! Love this idea, Kiss your brain, that's what we tell the kids at school when they have an aha moment!!!! This is lovely and yes, we are hoarding paper....guilty!!! Those cutter bee scissors are screaming my name< Rayon seam binding!!! Glue Booger, hahaha! Mod Podge to refill, excellent idea! Questions: Where did you get your cropadile punch for the eyelets, will you send a link please and are the ones that you can just hammer in called anything special? Would a rubber mallet work with them? Where is the tag die from? Will definitely watch again! Thank you, LIndsay!!!

      Thought I'd help out, I hope you don't mind me also answering! The crop-a-dile can be found at craft stores such as Joanns, Michael's and maybe Hobby Lobby and it can be found on many online shops such as Scrapbook.com and maybe Amazon or Walmart's online store. Tag dies can be found on these same online stores, as well. You should use a regular hammer with an eyelet setter and the eyelet setter must be the correct size for the eyelets you are setting - it comes with a metal rod that you tap with the hammer to spread the bottom of the eyelet out. Eyelet setters with hammers result in a neat appearance but are noisy (especially if someone is asleep in the next room 😊). I hope this helps.

    How did you do the tag topper?

    • @thefrugalcrafter
      @thefrugalcrafter  5 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      It was a die that came with the tag die but you can trace the top of any tag and trim it with scallop scissors:)
