Great explanation. Just bought a 320d with literally ALL the extras in Sparkling Bronze with beige interior. Keep these videos up mate.
Thank you! Hope you love your car?!
This is a repost of a video I released last week. I wasn't happy with a bit in the middle so decided to change it out. Hope you enjoy...
From south africa really enjoyed you channel on 320d always wanted one and later maybe 530d
Thank you Carlo! I would absolutely kill for a 530d ☺️
Great video - I can tell you really loved that car. I’ve long thought your videos were lacking references to Braveheart - thankfully this video address that
Thanks Dave, I certainly do love the car! You can't drive over the Scottish Highlands without injecting some Braveheart into it 😄
Loving your videos, tuned in because I've bought the same model. Interested to hear you talk about the door rattle. I have the same. Was yours coming from the door lock pin and did you sort it?
Thank you Robert! To be honest, I can't remember exactly where the rattle was. When it got the lights replaced I just asked them to sort it. Pretty sure it's a common issue unfortunately.
We used to have roads you could enjoy like that here in Wales. Mostly limited to 50mph now.
Yeah the fun police have really dampened the spirits of driving enthusiasts in many places now eh?
I have the 335D version of this on a private plate (67 reg car). Fuel economy? Around 35-40mpg in town and on spirited drives on A and B roads, around 40-50mpg on longer motorway drives using cruise control. Unfortunately mine is quite a basic spec, has reverse parking sensors but no adaptive cruise control just the standard cruise control, no heated seats , no electric seats only manual, no heated steering wheel and has the most basic analog instrument cluster.
Great mpg on such a powerful engine
Just needs a walnut blast as it's feeling a bit slower than it should be, not had one in it's entire life to my knowledge as the previous owner was a right cheapskate, it's covered 89,500 miles so definitely overdue.
Not cheap... £500! Definitely going to be worth it though.@@car_babble
Id say my 320d estate doesn't feel as planted as my old 320d e91,the steering on my 17 plate is very light but apart from that the styling and and interior is spot on👍🏻
That's interesting to know...
@@car_babble F30 onwards has electric power steering, as do pretty much all cars now. The main reason for it is economy as you don't need a power steering pump constantly running. It does ruin the steering feel though.
@dopiaza2006 thanks for letting me know. Really good info 👍
I ran an 2007 E91 320D M sport for 9 years, putting 173k miles on it in that time. An absolutely brilliant car that did everything. I’d still have now if I hadn’t switched off one drive & tangled with another car at a traffic light junction (completely my fault). Really miss the feel & handling of it on A & B roads even after getting a 911 (997) as a weekend car, dropping back into the E91 didn’t feel a massive step back bar the power & sound. Planning on getting an F31 but disappointed to read your comment on the the F31 not feeling as planted and the steering not being as good. Both the 997 & E91 have hydraulic steering so heavier but plenty of feel. Those E91s are something special IMO. F31 is the better looking car even over the G series which I’m just not of a fan of looks wise but the interior is the best of the lot. Sorry for the long ramble! 😀
@BarryCoombs1 yes mate the e91 would be the better choice in my opinion,as I've had the f30 a couple of month's I've noticed stupid little noises in the cabin too like rattles from the door cards and from the parcel shelf,I know it sounds picky but after spending the money I wasn't expecting it to be like that, the build quality has seemed to have had a step backwards sadly, and I'm still not as comfortable with the handling as I was in the e91 so that still hasn't changed,oh I've had a bmw recall for the egr cooler which I've got to wait for them to get the part to be replaced now,🤦🏻
Hi mate, if you still have this car, I have the same car (non x drive) and want to do a trip around the Scottish Highlands (coming up from Heathrow area), if you are up for another day of highland driving like this in the future, I'm in.
Hi mate, thanks for getting in touch. If you follow me on Instagram you can leave me a DM and let me know when you're heading and we can see if we hook up! 😎

Whats the name of the song and artist on POV?
Channel 13 - Take me home :)
Eco pro is a total waste of time. Makes naff all difference on a long drive.By the way I can get 55mpg on a m-way drive in my 335d with not far off twice the power. In real terms, you're looking at 20% ish more consumption for the 6 cylinder. However the power delivery is awesome! 435d does 0-60 in around 4.5 seconds which is not to be sniffed at!
Yeah that's just an incredible blend of performance and economy. Would love to have the 6 cyl!
