I always forget to set preconditioning. I just turn on the climate control, wait 5 to ten minutes, open the door through the app. Then when inside I open the passenger door. So simple. Yet you make out its too complicated for you. Try defrosting a Ford Escort. The door handles also froze. Seem to me like you have first world problems.

Hey guys, the point of this video (that I remade) is to share the learnings on defrosting my Model 3. Most frustrations can be mitigated, but if this is your first winter in a Tesla, they might not be obvious.

15-20 minutes of preconditioning/defrosting to get the windows warm so they don’t shatter then pop the door in the app

Had the same issue with the door handle sticking out a few weeks back. First time had happened and I wondered what the smeg was going on. When I got home the car wouldn't lock as the handle was still out. I now use a zip lock back with hot water in to defrost the lights and the door handles, just save pouring water everywhere and keeps your hand warm at the same time.

You say you're disorganized, but you set up a schedule for preconditioning, cause I'm assuming your kids go to school at the same time every day, so you don't even have to think about it. I love your videos but you're very lazy lol. Youbdon't want to spend 5 minutes putting some WD-40 on the handles.

I'm just about a 1yo 4S cross turismo. Concerning value depreciation show me any sporty family car loosing value same way. E63? M5? 😅

I’ve had my f30 320d 2013 for 7 years now which is the longest I’ve ever had a car. Chosen to keep it because I’ve changed things on it in a classy way. Pre lci lights to lci lights (rear), changes the cup holders to lci. Changed the interior plastics to m performance alcantara. Put a stage 1 map on it which makes a difference. Changed the p shooter exhaust to double exhaust like the face lift f30. It’s looking a little bit outdated now inside hence might now change to digital cluster and android centre screen. (Aftermarket Chinese but try make it look as close to OEM like I have on all other mods I have done) I really want a C43 but having no car payments is so good it’s hard to change to a c43 with the extra payments. So yeah probably spend £700 and change to digital cluster and Android screen and keep the car for longer and put that money into better things. One only thing I hate about the car is I have every option available apart from fold down rear seats which is a big problem!! Another thing to mention the xenon lights with the angel eyes imo are the best looking lights, I prefer them to anything newer. They might be older technology but they do look good. Personal preference I guess

Unfortunately you can't permintally turn the speed warning off but if u hold set it will deactivate it for that trip

Diesels will live for a long time. They offer excellent range, have super torque and are extemly efficient. Diesel is alot less volutile than gas (petrol) too, so safer. Ediesel which is a natural gas based diesel may start taking off which offers great emissions reductions, and increased fuel economy. My 2014 jetta tdi when warmed up too, basiclly produces odorless exhaust.

Great video, have similar car and it has been flawless over my two years of ownership. I wanted a 911 but with kids this just made more sense. The regenerative breaking works when you press the breaks, same as every EV so the past last just as long. You also have adaptive regen on G1. Which add more regen based on cars in front of you. You get used to AC controls but it’s a miss.

Very lucky to also have this car - similar spec. It is the new generation though and surprised by your range. In the cold weeks at the moment (approx 3 degrees) I am getting 260 miles of range without trying. Hit 3 m/kwh yesterday which would give you just shy of 300 miles. Am sure it will be better in the spring etc and I expect you are driving the gen 1 model. Amazing car.

Evs are shite, even Volkswagen/ Porsche hate building them they’d rather build their TDis and TSis. I have a mk4 vw polo 1.4tdi (Lupo lights) it only has 75ps but I tell you what it’s a nippy little thing, the amount of fun I’ve had in this thing is crazy. The mpg even when it’s thrashed is amazing. To create the battery’s they use diesel vehicles ? Vans sold in the uk are over 90% diesels. Lorries are diesels, a lot of buses are still diesel, pickups are mostly diesel. There’s still people who buy diesel cars even tho the propaganda has made the market completely change. They send people to the moon I’m sure they can create a back box that could clean the nox levels. I’m 23 and I’ll never own an ev they’ll have to shoot me.( jokes aside some evs are okay and I get why people buy them but still….. EWWWWWW)

Pick up my 2021 model 3 awd in a couple of days. I'm coming form an electric car so im used to that side of things but really impressed with the Tesla when was test driving. I was shocked at how fast it picked up.

I have the base Taycan Cross Turismo with a load of options. With the optional rear axel steering it is such a nimble car when driving in town centers and underground car parks. What does face the driver is the optional head-up display, which is excellent. You are right, it an awesome car and it gives me a big smile every time I drive it. By the way, the passenger screen is not part of the sport chrono package: it is a separate option.

Nice to see a positive review, I watch a lot of reviews on the Taycan and it gets a lot of "hate" from "petrol heads" and bigger channels, I don't think it's fair, whilst I get their point of view the vast majority of the bigger channels spend their time in supercars/hypercars and can't get past the fact it's electric. I've got a Taycan Turbo S and I love it, beautiful looking car. Agree with a lot of your points, it's a big wide car, Turbo S is definitely too fast for the road. My only major complaint is its range which they have at least improved in the gen 2 Taycans across the entire range. Loved the scenery and enjoyed the review :)

I too own one of these in a similar spec...I think yours even had the compass sport chrono.Ive found the range perfectly acceptable (its returned 3.3m/pwh in 27k miles) the trick with all electic cars is home charging of course but on a long run I find the fast charging a non issue by the time you have popped to the loo and had a cuppa you have another 70 or 80 miles to carry on with.Mine was a year old when I bought it and had lost 50% of its £125k price tag.Eyes wide open still more to fall but personally I am happy to be driving such an amazing all rounder.

The leather on the steering wheel is "loose" Create a warranty case, they usually change the steering wheel without complaining, if its not 4 years old

Great video, and simply stunning car! Running a RR puts the fear of God in me but you can't deny how good they obviously are. Piano black gloss trim though, when are manufacturers going to either ditch this or start doing it better - you can literally scratch it with a finger nail - I don't know if there are other alternatives on a RR Sport but having had it on previous cars I'd have just about anything else instead of it

Brilliant video, made even better by the epic scenery! The car is amazing - I have a similarly spec'd one myself (albeit a 4, not a 4S) and agree that it's an incredible all-rounder. For me to be able to run a car that goes and handles like this, costs virtually nothing to run, is well built and equipped and can take 4 adults plus a big dog in total comfort is a game changer. And if you factor in how special it is, looks and makes you feel, I can't think of a single alternative at any price point, which is probably the best compliment I could give a car. Keep up the good work CB, great content!

Really loved your review. I bought a model 3 performance 2021 last year with 32k on the clock. It had body kit on which made it look like a super car. Love it but there are compromises. My top 3 like are; one pedal driving, instant performance and the sound of the stereo system....... I'll add one more; the steering is so direct.... now my to 3 annoyances; handling is great but with the suspension set up and seats going round corners at speed isn't the best. Build quality pleasantly surprised me but not on par with German cars and lastly air vents are not the best. I get the minimal style but they don't do as good as job as most other cars. Finally the app which allows you to control the scheduling of the cars temperature and watching where my wife goes in real time on the app map is pretty cool. Anyway, I'm more a tesla fan now than ever after owning many cars from glof r's to bmw m3's.😄

I called this when EV's first came to market with no tax. They intentionally went into this by forcing people into cars that in time they would be shafted by owning. It will become more and more expensive year on year, and i believe the intentions long term is to force people out of cars completely.
