The Range Rover needed a diff guard to slide over the mud instead of getting caught on the mound. Nice sounds though.
well the guy driving the range rover also had no idea how to drive in mud
not matched the drivetrain to the new big wheels so its got no grunt anymore

Range rover classic in this video has 2 problems compare to Chevrolet. 1. Tires, 2. driver

Rookie drivers. Even with poor tires he could have used momentum to surf through the water. What does he do? Goes slow then floors it lol.

Two different types of off road vehicles with specific strengths and weaknesses, but a great video none the less. It was good to see the first D2 finally get out hahaa. Much love for the Chevy but I'd go with the Rover.
Spoken just like someone that doesn't own a K5.....Ha Ha! Truth----> there is ZERO ego stroking in owning a K5 Blazer. However, dollar for dollar its one of the best 4x4's that have ever graced the world with its presence. A Land Rover is a vehicle for people that need to "feel" special, Blazer's are for people the want or need performance. Period.
Yeah those K5 blazers, any square body Chevy really or those old scouts are hard to beat.
All down to the tyres - nothing more or less!

The driver in the Range Rover has no idea what he's doing, I mean crawling in and then when he finds out he's gone to slow, he floors it! Rookie driver and it shows. Not that the Discovery is a bad off-roader, just that if it was between a modern day Range Rover and a modern day Discovery to take off road, I'd take a Range Rover in a heartbeat
I won a 2003 Land Rover freelander and a 2008 disco 3. But dam do I miss my k5. I really want to swap my disco engine for a good ol lsx engine.
That chevy sounds like its going to die out after this.

no, its mostly about the driver in this video, ofc better tires makes a difference, but if the driver had any clue at all how to drive he whould get that car up in the first try no problem

The range rover driver needs more practice and better tires.
Range Rover driver was not even in Low range when he went in.. Dick. + Bald tyres + spinning too fast.. Disco driver had the better plan. (same running gear b/w RRC and Disco)
It's a Td5 Disco 2, so more like P38 running gear than RRC, which is indeed basically the same as Defender/Disco 1.
