the women's games need more coverage.
Thank you for putting this up for us. I enjoyed the game even though it was a bit one-sided, although Sale got in some terrific tackles against the exciting Lightning backs. The commentator was awful, and was always several passes behind the play when he tried to identify the players, but the director was even poorer as he or she insisted on showing images of the crowd or, even worse, the coaches, while there was action on the field. Who wants to watch three grim-faced people wearing black watching the game when we could be seeing the players on the pitch actually playing the game?
Individually, I was impressed by several of the Sale players including Harper and the obviously classy Rigoni, but there isn't much in rugby - either male or female - that can beat the sight of Emily Scarratt in full flight with the ball in her hands. Fingers crossed she can turn it on in the upcoming Six Nations.
i think tbf the only thing i can think is that potentially the audio is not synced? like its 2 seconds behind or something, so yeah it makes it sound like they're behind the play, but when he reacts to the tackle 'oof' its a couple secs behind, when i think that'd be more instant
