If you want to learn French, go to Cuba. ( this is a small joke but true )That’s because you’ll meet nice tourist people from Quebec who are happy to speak a little French with you. As a bonus, you can learn a little Spanish speaking with the hotel workers. Try to learn 20 words in Spanish and French before you go to Cuba. Also, the hotel staff appreciate little tips of a dollar or two when service is provided. Also, that bus ride from the airport to the hotel is one and a half hours so use the toilet facilities at the airport before boarding the bus and don’t drink too much on the bus.
Thanks for another excellent video. You make people feel as if they are there. I can't wait to travel by October. I hope that Mr. T. removes the hotel quarantine so that I can go. I have never understood how people go to Cuba and say that they have starved for the week. i never had a problem with some of the food. How much do you want on your plate. No golf carts. I have been to Cuba for the last 25 years and I always find something to eat that I like. I love beans, rice, fish and different vegetables. As you can see, this time they had the same basic ingredients for the whole week. Mostly, eggplants cut in different ways to make it look different and a few other repetitive items such as wieners, beans. Same cheese just cut up differently. Usually I’ll hit the snack bar but they only had hotdogs which were wieners cut in half on a dinner bun and no mustard available (only once through the week) nor any other condiments. Usually what I do is eat only a few items per meal so I can go through the different items throughout the week but this time most items were the same with no variation. The pasta bar usually is a good option but the lines were so long and the pasta was mushy and overcooked which was not too great. Usually pasta dishes are good in Cuba. Was the worst food I have seen in 25 years. But a good thing out of this we both lost 5 pounds that week. LOL 😂 Usually the staff is always happy and great in Cuba but you could feel their frustration as clients we’re not happy with the food selection and quality which trickled down to the quality of the staff service. Tried to tip them well regardless. All in all would I go back? I love the people and chances are, the food is going to be better next time. The beaches are great and I always feel safe in Cuba. Glad you enjoyed the video. Was made for my family but then decided to make it public since Covid was hitting hard and people needed to virtually travel and as we say “Pardon my French” LOL! On this part two video of my trip, the other side I visited was closed to customers. I just went out for a walk and filmed. Talking to members of the construction crew, they told me that this section was under renovation. Glad you enjoyed and take care.

Funny because I have a Jeep TH-cam channel (Pete’s Jeep Adventures) that I do in English where I try to do good videos and it is not as successful as this one that is in French and video just stitched together rapidly with some added music mostly for the family and some of those videos get more views.
