Usually on a canvas tent or tarp...mix a small amount of regular dish soap and then a good dose of water and spray your tomatoes... Your Japanese beetles will be motivated to go elsewhere... That's what my beloved Mother,who was a very successful gardener, showed me how to do it..a spray bottle a little bit of dish washing detergent and water... your plants will be glad... Don't use it around your bull frog's home...

Hey Robert, I got the same setup, great machine. I got the deus1& deus2... They're all great machines! For water hunting the Excalibur 2,it swings easier in water. You could hunt all day and not get tired. On the beach and trashy areas deus 2.. I enjoyed watching your hunt, Excalibur will stiff out some old stuff people leave behind, it is a Beach cleaner. 😁 GOOD LUCK! I'll be watching for that "Gold Ring" to roll out! 😎
4 sure is best go at night, too dang hot,the sand like a frying pan, i live near Galveston Island Tx, my car temp had 108 on it few days ago ,uggghhhh glad you go in cool be careful
Robert, Nice score on the Excal II. Where did you find it and did you get extra batteries? I remember when I had mine the batteries didn't last all that lone so i had to make sure I had a spare just in case. Bill
Do you think the excalibur works better than the nox or legend? I've never used an excalibur but I've seem some vids where it didn't perform that well compared to your other two detectors. I'd like to try an excalibur for diving though, I think it would be great for that, though it might not perform as well as the deus 2. Good luck with it, you should add that mod you spoke about, save yourself some time.

They beads are Lava Beads. They are good for putting essential oils on to carry the scent with you longer.
