Hi Kay, love your videos love your cats! I'm not saying this to be preachy or tell you what to do... I'm just telling you from personal experience that the food that the cats love is really unhealthy! If you do a little research on healthier cat foods there's definitely so much bad stuff in the commercial cat food that leads to health issues. I know from my own experience my cat got cancer and our dogs two of them previously got cancer as well. So it's really really important to get them on some healthy real foods just like people whole foods are really important! I just don't want you to go through the sorrow of having them get sick! They'll be really picky and not want it at first but eventually they'll come around. I'm not sure what brands you have in the UK but there has to be something that is better than the commercial foods that have a lot of animal by products, coloring, and fillers that cause disease. We had a Siamese cat that was so vocal all day long, just wanted attention, just had to talk talk! I thought there was something wrong and took him to the vet also! Nope just the talker! Take care.

I have a rag doll / cat question. Pardon my ignorance but I’ve never had cats (dogs are my life). We live in the Cheshire countryside with 5 dogs 🐶! Are rag dolls notoriously fussy eaters or are cats in general OR is it just diva Rory and Diva Echo?🤣🤣🤣♥️♥️

I found there was an unexpected perk to one of my cats being greedy, food was never left in the bowl to go yucky in summer. I didn't worry too much about him overeating as he went outside and would burn it all off roaming quite a fair distance. Also, grain free options are appearing in supermarkets nowadays. Provided you read the packaging, you can get some decent options that don't cost an arm and a leg, like at the vets.
I'd love Maine Coon too.... A lot of people have 0utdoor cages they can walk in.... Bi mean huge ones the length of the whole garden!! I believe these cats get a lot of mess problems around their behind if not trimmed fur regularly
Great video! Just have to say when brushing them you might want to be more gentle. Cats feels things more sensitively. Also with my cat I just wait until she is ready to be brushed and then I brush her. I brush her every single day and it's never been a struggle.

Love seeing your fur babies. One of my cats eats his own food and then pinches the other plate of food. Same thing, she looks at me as if to say "Why is he eating my food"? I got them the cat tree months ago after seeing yours. It went down a treat for about a week. Now they never go near it. I'm going to donate it to my daughter for her cats lol. Mine sleep on my bed on a fluffy blanket. Its so lovely to hear abut your cats funny little ways. They are both beautiful!

Hi Kay, I have a RAGDOLL , Tucker who is the love of my life. He is 6 now and I got him when 12 weeks old. He is from a Texas breeder , I live in Connecticut and arrived weighing 2lbs 2oz and so cute I just melted. He is the sweetest boy ever . He love attention and he gets a lot. Car rides are his favorite and he just sits in his car seat and looks out the window…I know more ragdoll are in my future.
@@carole3445 Hi Carole, He really like dry food and that is Royal Canin Ragdoll Food, but he will really eat any dry food.I feel he gets his nutrition from the ragdoll food so his wet food is inaba treat tubes from Amazon or I give him topper in pouches by the same brand from Amazon. He loves this Inaba food. He will eat fancy feast pate sometimes .He doesn’t like human food , he puts his nose up but my Vet says that’s good. He is the best kitty and I love him so much. I would love to hear about your ragdoll.
I live in Canada. The Royal Canin Ragdoll dry food is not available in our local pet stores. I adopted Oliver 3 weeks ago from a friend of my daughter's. I previously had Hamilayans cats. Oliver is very vocal and affectionate. He has adjusted very well in my home. I took him to the vet for an annual check-up, and he didn't like the car. I will have to work on the car rides. Thank you for answering my question. 😊

I love cats and I want one so much but we collect antiques and I could just see the cat jumping and breaking our stuff. I use to have one that would wake me up every morning pawing my chest. But that was before new house and old antiques lol.

Ragdolls are indoor cats so they shouldn’t go outside without supervision, harnessing them is for their own safety.
Have you tried slow feeder bowls and individual cat box feeders that only allow in the microchipped cat that you want to eat that food.

The darker colored ragdolls tend to have a much better personality (temperament) in my honest opinion.
