Thankful that you had exactly the same car! And exactly the same fold! And thankfully you had a simple teaching gift at the moment to make it really clear!
Thank you for making this video. I fixed it in about 10 minutes on my 2007 Camry XLE. I do want to add that you should remove the bottom panel (that touches the carpet) first. Start on the left side of it where you'll find a rubber trim. Once the bottom trim comes out it's much easier to remove the top. The top snaps to the lower piece and there is a snap at the top of it.
2008 Camry. Leaving a comment in case anyone needs it. First of all, thank you for this video! It saved me a lot of trouble. I wasn't able to get the top to dislocate like yours. I think that's a difference in the manufacturing/design. However, after 15 minutes of finagling, I was able to get the sides loose enough I could shine a flashlight in and see the seatbelt, grab it with my needle-nose pliers, and pull it down. One pull was enough to unfold it. The casing doesn't fit back as tightly as before, but I DON'T CARE. Thank you again.
Excellent video! I've got the exact situation you do. Life saver video because there is nobody else posting this info. I was able to fix my ride without going to the shop. Thanks again!
Thanks for this video, extremely helpful! *Note for others in a similar situation, in my Toyota sienna I was able to pull back the panel far enough to fix it without undoing the top latch
Thank you so, so much for this video. Knowing where the hooks were was absolutely key. To note, for anyone else, my belt was so stuck, I couldn't even untwist it with needle-nosers until I applied some graphite lube: but that did the trick! The repair was very quick, nevertheless. You have done the world a service.
Just did this. Remove the lower plastic piece (touching the carpet) by pulling the trim seal away. The trim seal holds the lower piece together and is an easy remove. You’ll see the bolt that is holding the top piece once the lower piece is removed.
Thank you very much for taking the time to make this video, first one that popped up I might add, I have a 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE and it's the same seatbelt, so I feel very lucky ☘️
Yea, I'm there right now too, with the belt pulled all the way out. Thanks for taking the time to explain all that, for those of us with this car and problem. It's very much appreciated.
Hey thnx 4 this vid. Same thing happened (fold) 2008 Tacoma but I pulled till no more belt. I'm afraid I won't be able to get the panel part off. When it stops raining I will try. Thanx again
What is the panel piece known as that you are showing at 1:10 to 1:12 mark. I need to replace mine and don't know what to call it. Thanks for any assistance
I want to do this on my sienna been stuck for years but there’s a airbag directly above that spot! I’m afraid if I pull the panel the airbag might deploy. Any other solution? Thx
You did not show how you first popped off the plastic cover ! Did you use a flat screwdriver ? I am going to try and pry the cover of part way. Wish me luck !
Thanks to this video, I was able to unjam my driver's side seat belt in under 5 minutes. Saved me the cost of having a mechanic do it. Good job!

Excellent video. One little tug with the needle nose pliers and the seatbelt retracted. Thanks for showing us how to fix it

Thank you for the video. Seat belt is stuck on the Tacoma for the last 3 days, and now I know what to do.

Thank you very much. My 2005 Camry constantly binds on the driver’s side. I may have to eventually replace the belt assembly
Thank you so much after two years of having both sides of my seatbelts stuck they are finally free

This saved a lot of trial and error for me, thanks!
Thank u so much. Saved me alot headache.
Thank you guy, you really help me a lot with a similar issue 😊
thanks a lot!!! .. I fixed my retractor after seeing your video.
There is also a push thingy above where the seatbelt comes from. If you push it and try moving the seatbelt "port" up and down, it might fix it.
Thanks dude. 😊 my wife will be happy and because of your video I'll be able to fix mine.
I was at a loss. This video saved my day!
thanks for the video and the tips, it worked perfectly for me on a 2005 camry i just bought
Thank you. Helped get me started on removal
Thank you so much as a woman this was simple and do able I appreciate you making this video for Damsel in distress like myself lol 🖤
I needed to see how you got the piece back in because theoretically it should pop back in but the piece on my wife’s car won’t

IT WORKED!!!!! Thank you so much!!!
Does somebody know if the hooks are the same in the 2020 model? I’ve tried to pull that plastic cover off but I was afraid it would break.
Hi are this almost the same to open the rear side of hundai 1x35

Thank you. That helps a lot. I will try that with my seatbelt in my Toyota van.
What do you do if it has an airbag in it.
Thank you for making this video. It really helps
بيض الله وجهك يالامير
That did it! Works great now, thanks!
I want to do this on my sienna been stuck for years but there’s a airbag directly above that spot! I’m afraid if I pull the panel the airbag might deploy. Any other solution? Thx

😊ty so much for this video😊
I can't re asamblea the dam thing back any tips ?
I tried, I got one hook off but couldn't get the panel loose to get in there. This is such a frustrating and recurring problem for me.
Awesome I thought that was going to be a headache
Thank you!
Got it fixed by adjusting the height up and down.
Can you give some details on how you did it? So stuck right now, but doesn't want to try something as complicated as removing a panel 😮
Thank you, just saved us haha
I've never drove a Toyota that's seat belt doesn't get stuck after a year or 2.
🤙🏽thanks
it's 2024 and this is still helpful!!
Hi. Does this work for Camry 2015 model? The only thing that worries me is that I make the clips' cover
