I just read that they are now engaged. Yes, this is "shameful" and a lot of people are angry with him (and her). He lost a lot - but if she is really the one, it's worth it and kudos for living your truth. Staying with someone you don't love (anymore) is as destructive as leaving. Good luck Mark and Maria!
