What a wonderful project! I love when you wax your projects. I have not tried it yet, but am very inspired to do so. I just love the way it looks! The stamping was also so beautiful! tfs Hugs❤

After I watched your video, I went back to my craft room to look for filters and a See’s candy wrapper fell out of some papers. It made a perfect little pocket for tiny word labels. I loved the video!
I love this idea, Cathy! I had to go and coffee dye some coffee filters for this project, so I'm waiting for them to dry. This reminds me of some pockets I've made with doilies - very similar! But this gives me a new art medium to use! I'm always looking for new ways to use common objects - and this is one I hadn't tried yet! Thank you so much for always encouraging and inspiring! Love your channel & love your videos! Have a fantastic weekend! PS I have a fur baby that doesn't like thunder, either - I usually have to hold her when it's storming, but I've seen some "snuggies" you can put on them - like a sweater - to help them feel more secure. Not sure if it works or not, but might want to look into it.
Absolutely beautiful Cathy… Mahalo for sharing your talents… I pray the thunderstorms don’t frighten your puppy to awfully bad… have a happy day… 💫🌺💐♥️
Hi, Cathy I have made this pocket before with doilies, but the coffee filters are an entire different look. I will have to get some $1.25 Tree candles some day and try that out. I do love the look of glassine bags. Very pretty quick idea today. Nancy
Hi Cathy how are you today ? Wow what beautiful ideas absolutely amazing and definitely something very different thank you for sharing have a great day ❤
I just made a micro mini version of this...LOL. I have a camping travel coffee press...Aeropress Go...it has about a 3 inch round filter. Of course it's coffee dyed after use. I save these tiny filters. Now to go in and find tiny stamps. Going to make a tiny tag to go in it or perhaps a tiny folded "love letter" wish I could send you a pic
❤ i just found your video using coffee filters i love this idea thank you for sharing this and you really explained this process very well I'm anxious to go try this ❤
Oh, these look so wonderful, i definitely want to try this! I’ve got the stamp & fussy cuts and priced the wax pellets at Kaisercraft , but Coffee filters don’t appear to be a thing here in Australia it seems.the one filter i found in a supermarket today was a different shape with sealed edges. I’ve looked on Amazon - but at $28 for a pack…. Temu sell the same one for $5 - next order!
Cathy, I really like the color of the frayed burlap distress ink you use. I bought some to use and when I use it, it has a greenish tint to it. Is thst how it is on yours? I know in real life, colors appear differently than in color.
NOPE!!!! Doesn’t work, lol! Do not try this at home folks! I will be purchasing some beeswax. The freezer paper stuck to my coffee filter. This is why we have Cathy on our side. Thank you Cathy for all you do. I should not be allowed to try things on my own, haha!
😍😍😍so beautiful

Reminds me of. Waxed paper my grandma bought and used to bake things

You could have a card/template that was 3 1/2" wide and use it to fold the filter...

I use paraffin wax used for cooking/canning
Cathy, these are so cute… I’m wondering what kind of wax you are using in this project. I would like to try this. Thanks for sharing 😊❤.
I the video I held up the package of wax that I used in this project. You can hold the video and wright down what the bag says. 💐🥰
Very pretty pockets. Thank you. How do you wax them?
Well that is why there is a video, it shows you how to make these with wax and without the wax. 💐🥰
I love these! I don’t have any beeswax, but I do have wax paper or freezer paper. Do you think that would that work?❤
NOPE!!!! Doesn’t work, lol! Do not try this at home folks! I will be purchasing some beeswax. The freezer paper stuck to my coffee filter. This is why we have Cathy on our side. Thank you Cathy for all you do. I should not be allowed to try things on my own, haha!
I don’t think that would work, but a white candle shaved with a knife would work. 🥰💐
