@@tonysnow.7231 You would need use chromatography in order to separate the THCA from the other cannabinoids in the extract. Liquid to Liquid extract is possible but it would require lab equipment and the return would be minimal; meaning it will cost more to make than the product is worth.
@@tonysnow.7231 Dab concentrates? Typically, they conduct the initial conversion from CBD to D8, then end product is dictated by the post processing. Some whip it and add oxygen to the distillate, some add waxes back to the distillate, and terpenes and slab it out. Keeping in mind that ALL D8 is distillate and is nothing like traditional concentrates, as they are essentially a crude extract with no refinement.
Thca was actually discovered by Mechoulam in 1969. I was the first to isolate thca at scale with guild extracts and it was not by accident. Also Thca crystalline does not need pressure to grow crystalline lattice structures. Also co2 is way too slow of a extraction method in my opinion.
Couldn't you just use full melt hash then put that in a mason jar and then sit it on a heat matt so the terpenes separate from the thc. It might not be a pure diamond but surely it would work ?
Hey man. I was just hoping maybe you'd be able to answer a question or two for me. I am trying to melt some thca isolate in hopes to get it to crystalize again. Is this the best simple method to get it back to diamonds? Is this even possible without decarbing it? Maybe I just dont understand but if it was decarbed would it not still be dab-able? I am also wondering what would be the best container (small size) to use if I was to heat it on say a candle warmer? I am also wondering if I could just add some terps straight to thca isolate and be able to whip it into something dabable? I feel like after watching this video that turning my iso back to crystals isnt worth even bothering with if I can just do iso+terps. Ultimately making dabs with the isolate is the goal. Reply greatly appreciated. Going to give you a sub, looking forward or hoping for some clarification to my ignorance. xD Cheers.
@@avilesjexiel I know this. What I am asking is if the battery will heat the oil up enough to decarbonize the oil. Also how do they make live res withut decarb then?
Every bit of weed (nugs) that you smoke is THCa and when you heat it it becomes THC it's all about the loop hole really to get around the illegal THC in certain countries
Three possible reasons came to me on reading your comment. One, the strain has thiols that were also extracted. Two, they used sulfur directly on the plant to combat mold. Three, it was butane diamonds, and they went with cheap lighter fluid butane that had a high sulfur PPM.
No, THC diamonds must be made in the CO2 machine and use acidic material. The heat will neutralize the acidic properties. This crystallization process is not really a hemp flower application, more so for a high quality THC rich flower.
I’ve had both. I’m a licensed hemp retailer in Texas and Arete Hemp, bay smokes and purocanna (coming soon) have hemp derived THCA products that are the exact same as the cannabis industry diamond. Same look same everything. Arete has high grade strain specific indoor hemp that is very close to the real deal.
Yo what type of yield are we talking that picture looked dope as fuck. We run a IES 100L 12k g run and a 40L 3500g runs. Big fucker yields a general 2500 3000 5 hour runs.

Have any questions? Ask them here!
Can i buy a oz of this from you?
How can I make diamonds from hemp distillate? Can I do it with hemp flower that’s higher in THCA?
How are they making all these concentrates from D8?

I just got a new Etoh pro and im blown away on how efficient and easy it is to run
No more dangerous BHO

Thank you @Brad_GuildExtracts, really appreciate your insights! Mechoulam was a great man RIP
Thank you for your contributions 😊
Can you make full melt hash into diamonds using heat to separate the terpenes, since you don't need pressure?
THC A and V is all dope you nerds argue so you can be legal. still dope heads

I love this guy!! Dr. Thompson has extraordinary knowledge on this subject matter!!!!
Question: is it safe to use this type of extracted cannabis in suppositories? Thanks for the informative video! 💓
So if someone had thca made using a rosin press, could you add the thca powder to a Mason jar and add some butane to the jar to crystallize it?
You can whip shader and sugar into crumble with a tiny bit of heat
So do I trap super sat instead of burn it off with heat?
What temp do you run your oven for diamonds

Wow... Things have come a long way since I wrote The Great Book of Hemp in '95...
I hadn't heard of people doing sub-critical CO2 extraction like that, fantastic

How is it out in a cartridge without convert tho d9?
It converts when you heat it and smoke it. It's real weed just a loophole to make it legal.
