This has to be the coolest party barn/workshop I have ever seen. I farm in Northwest Ohio where there are no shortage of old barns. You are really knocking this out of the park. P.s. You should consider selling those wire brackets. I can think of a few places I could use those.

Your videos are the second most compelling thing that makes me want to get out of Portland and start living out in the country. The overpopulation/traffic is number one.
I enjoy your creative process. It's honest and pure. Your aesthetic is beautiful and uncomplicated. I love watching Drake too. You could easily patent that design and sell the plans. It could help you finish your barn and help further other projects. Please seriously consider it! The income you make off of it could help supplement your income during a drought, bad crop season, or an injury or loss of some type.
I love the cable style of railing you used. They are meant to look like what gets used on sailboats and your turning solution looks more like a turning block than the normal terminal that is used in these applications. I really like the way they turned out. Seems like we are having increased delinquency problems with drake. He may need to be written up and a note placed in his permanent file. Sometimes it's the tough love that gets heard. Thanks again for the videos.

I have been an Oregon Contractor for near 40 years. Love the detail and application of cable railing for any 31" plus application. You really got it designed and built well congrats!

I actually like the look of the deck without the roof fully overhanging it. The view (without the roof) along with the lights really set it off in evenings.

Awesome project all the way around. On the cables, I wondered if you could have made the the brackets with a slightly thinner piece in the middle so that the outer pieces could be tightened down to keep the cables tight.
