I aggree, they're quite a breath of fresh air. I often see bands getting very popular with half the talent these guys have. There is something about GVF that draws you in and holds your attention. It will be interesting to see them grow, and how they develope their sound.

Yes, Greta Van Fleet is a great surprise, they're not even 20 yet and they sound like Led Zeppelin. We need more groups like this nowadays. That's just not true, whatsoever. Digital music doesn't sound "bad" on vinyl, it's got nothing to do with that. Mastering on different audio mediums is what makes the difference. Digital releases are usually very compressed, and vinyl ones are less compressed and limited. That's what makes them sound better, it's nothing to do with the actual vinyl medium, aside from the warmth that can come from loss of details as the vinyl wears down.
Thanks guys, I found Schiit LOKI and they do seem to be well thought of. The recording you have posted here does sound like the bass drum is up to, sort of, live pump like you're feeling the percussion from a real bass drum. Yes, I do know it is an up load to UT, but to my ears, it does sound a cut above most music on UT. Did you do that with this LOKI phono EQ. It can't be a pre amp and RCA into a Phono input in a Hi Fi system amp? Have I got that right? Cheers, Orley.

Vinyl is potentially good , but you do not Know the supply chain, like you can follow on food. A copy of a copy might not be good. 15" per sec copies on Quarter inch tape used to be sent out in the 70S to pressing plants with vinyl records with lots of crackels embeded before you ever played it.
Hello, Hippie here That's what makes Vinyl so good,plus the smell,it's kind of like a drug,go through the motions before you play it making sure you don't touch the record,it's just wild my records I treated them like fine China....No finger prints, No scratches on them...And never lend them out unless your we're babysitting that Album.....I know crazy....

Can't really fault them tho, Robert Plant's vocals for early zeppelin was just him trying to copy Steve Marriott. Band sounds tight, didn't hear anything to rival Jimmy Page, John Bonham or John Paul Jones tho, but then again, who can? Keep on rocking

Sounds a good pressing. Was it analogue recording in studio. In the 70s some records were really bad quality plastic made from old washing up bottles.
