This video was a huge relief, i watched the bo video first and it portrayed dankus as the manifestation of all their mistakes. Then here we see how axis took france in 38 and was afk until 42 where they did barb. 4 years of dankus being solo against the entire allies and the axis still failed barb miserably despite the 4 year buildup. Bo actually tricked me in to thinking dankus wasn't the best player in the game
ngl, Dankus still had no game impact, the allies were severly crippled in africa. Japan could have capitalized on that to prevent the allies from building up.

Japan should never have any impact to begin with. You can't do anything with navy or air and have to suicide charge mountains or a river. Japan is much weaker since the man the guns DLC

All I noticed was that only Yugoslavia and Germany were there guarding for D-Day. Like where the hell is Spain and Italy hello? Where is anyone?
@@MaXiMoS54 I think Italy was in Africa (I forget but Bo has a video of this match and he was Italy) but the other minors near the end had their team complaining since they weren’t doing much outside of I think Bulgaria
@@MaXiMoS54 they need more coops and macro players. These games r getting to be hot garbage. I love dankus & his content but these games should be a lot better in regards to the research, economy, national focuses, and other decisions
In the Axis’ defense, Dankus did drop the ball with his navy (which he admits in the video), which severely limited his ability to do anything. However he was rushed to early war & he had no coop, so hard to really find definitive blame. And in Dankus’ defense, the axis failed to keep up momentum on the Soviets after their ‘massive victories’ in Africa. They took too long to do anything, which effectively set Japan alone against the Allies + soviet volunteers for over a year in-game. Throws all around
I mean just the fact that he's holding china and drawing US/commonwealth attention for so long is already way above par in terms of what a Japan should realistically be doing. Obviously losing his navy was a setback but in the grand scheme of things it wasn't really relevant.

The USA carried the allies in that game the BO video made it look like everything was dankus fault but this gives some more perspective I think dankus could’ve done china better but he was dealt a crappy hand with new zealand carriers his navy getting nav bombed to death and canadian tanks in the raj

Bo's video is a lie. Dankus hold the line until end. They literally put the blame to Dankus! Thats outrageous.

Honestly, although Bo's video misrepresents Dankus quite badly, Dankus didn't have to do an 'early war'. The Allies had Africa done, and if they weren't going to naval invade India or do Clown Front, then Japan has less reason to rush. Japan is alone in the Pacific against the entirety of the Allies, so he needs a good army and navy, and being forced into an early war meant Dankus had to eat rocks against a buffed USA.
Granted, Dankus probably could of pushed as soon as D-Day happened, because all their attention would be there, but it wouldn't have done much except take some Indian Divs off, which weren't the problem, the US divisions were.
Ultimately, this was 95% Golden's fault, for Early Warring, and not choosing to double down and just take out the allies totally. A 40 Barb is fine, but if they'd naval invaded India, they'd remove India and the allies from the Pacific except the US. The US in that case has to focus on the Pacific totally, or risk that War in the Pacific Debuff stopping D-Day. They'd never cap Australia, but just removing India, one of the largest manpower pools the Allies have, would of delayed D-Day.

truly a dankus japan moment
he asked his team to help invade. You know have game impact. They decided no were gonna build up for barb and fail it rather then play with the best micro player in an advantageous assault that would allow him to further help against USA. Maybe his fleet wouldn’t be dead if he was supporting naval invasions in India rather then getting permanent naval bombardement because his team refused to play as a team. Furthermore rather then being accountable for that, they took a 180 stance at the end of the game and say Dancus was the one not providing “ impact.” It’s my least favourite part about HO4 all these kids pent up on rules trying to establish cringey hierarchies as if the viewer isn’t going to notice this weird anti dancus protocol that’s so far from the truth but believed in a cult like fashion. My point being you could simplify this as Germany being a power hungry moron trying to do some nazi rp. It wasted what like 30 peoples time but at least he got to say fuck Dancus right. Literal children that will never grow up.
This is why I don't play Hoi4 MP. The last Hoi4 mp game I played I got banned from for supposed game ruining. My crime was beating Germany as France by 1940.
Literally what the hell were the axis doing from Africa to '42. Japan isn't meant to take punishment for like literally 4 ingame years this is riduclous. I don't blame Dankus for "losing" this, that was completely on the Axis for not capitalizing on the fact that THEY went early war and DIDNT DO EARLY WAR!! WHY???!???
