  • Welcome to a full day in Penang, Malaysia! In this vlog, we take you along with us as we explore the beautiful Batu Ferringhi resort area.
We start off our day by relaxing at the beach, soaking up the sun and enjoying the warm weather. My husband even gets to fulfill a lifelong dream by riding a horse for the first time!
After our beach time, we venture out to explore the local night market. We loved walking around and shopping for souvenirs, and even sampling the local dessert apam balik, which we absolutely loved.
The sights, sounds, and smells of the market are truly unforgettable, and we had an amazing time experiencing the vibrant local culture.
Join us as we take you along on our Penang adventure, and stay tuned for more exciting vlogs to come!

      Hey!
We were in Malaysia for about 3 weeks. We spend 2 weeks in KL and about a week in Penang. Malaysia is amazing and has so much to do. It all really depends on your budget and if you are traveling solo or with family. Since we travelled as a family we did more relaxed and family friendly activities. Kuala Lumpur is a great place to start, lots to do and see (Petronas Towers, KL Tower, Perdana Botanical Gardens, KLCC Park, Lake Symphony light show, batu caves, countless malls, & food options). The best part, a lot of these activities are free! If have more time do check out Malacca, Penang Langkawi etc.
Also there is quite a bit of traffic in the evenings in KL & Penang so keep that in mind when planning anything. We had to rearrange a lot of our outings because of heavy traffic and rain!
We had such a good time in Malaysia, we are looking forward to going back one day. 😊
Hope that was helpful! Have a great trip👍🏼

IMHO McD fried chicken definitely better than AlBaik. I keep going to AlBaik outlets that for some reason didn't sell fried chicken at the time of day I was there but sold other stuff 😄

AlBaik definitely has a very unique taste! I like both but I love the garlic sauce from albaik with the chicken 👌🏼you have to try it😉

    do you love fast food?

Good question! We love all kinds of food. You'll see us eating a lot of fast food on our trip to Malaysia because majority of fast food places are not halal in Canada. Generally when we are home we eat mostly home cooked meals and eat out maybe once or twice per week.
      Have a great day! 😊

I wish! We were in Malaysia from February-March... Came back home for Ramadan/Eid. Just posting videos from our trip now. Unfortunately we didn't have a strong internet connection in our hotels/Airbnb to post from there.
Taking some time to edit and post all the videos. But I'm enjoying reliving good memories 😌 Lots more to come from our time in Malaysia!
Hope you have a great day 😊
      Thank you for watching 👌
