Praying for your restoration, I went through the same thing. The Lord restored me, so I could be restored to my wife.
I anxiously await your series on faith. I lost the love of my life also, I did not blame myself for having little faith or God for taking him home. Someday we will understand 🙏

Hi Darren, your sermon on the prayer of faith really resounded in me. I have lost 4 members of my family in the last 12 years, 3 of them directly or indirectly through cancer. Did you make the video on faith and suffering? If so, I would be interested in seeing it. Thank you and may God bless you all at BT.
Gods will be done not ours
So what I’m hearing here is God makes mistakes, but if you pray for healing for yourself or a loved one, he decides to take the illness away
We should also remember James 4:15 “If it’s in the Lord will, we will live and do this or that” and you can use it in the context of healing, if it’s in the Lords Will He will heal you or someone else.

What Bible versions do you guys use most consistently? Some of the videos like this one don't have verse markers, and I've tried to match the words up many many times, and they never match exactly

Those are just song lyrics, but I've worn various jewelry throughout my life, and Jesus has NEVER and will never love me any less.
The only thing I know that's in the Bible that's remotely related to this is where Jesus tells us not to worry about many things including fashion, Matthew 6. As well as anywhere the Bible instructs us not to be flashy. IMO, a couple pieces of jewelry isn't a bad investment or flashy. Everything the Lord made is good and has purpose.
