Haha yeah it drives me nuts! I try not to use ma y products on my hair but tend to go for natural stuff (like Jason hair spray) when I do. I love the LUSH hair products but my god they smell soooo strong! Far too floral for me!
Indi lasts on me for a good amount of time on skin and on clothes for an age. I can smell it on winter coats in my wardrobe! Such a good perfume.
I suspect that it's such a comfortable perfume that people just stop noticing it. I find the same thing with Green Tea..... It feels like it's part of me so I don't really notice it but other people can definitely smell it! Of course it won't be strong or last long to those who like beast-mode perfumes, but it's magical for skin scent lovers!

haha yeah I did watch that, thanks for shouting me out! I swear I’ve seen so many TH-camrs reviewing perfumes recently that I’m always banging on about (or that many other TH-camrs talk about regularly!) and saying that nobody else talks about them 😂. I can totally tell who watches other reviewers and who doesn’t lol! I watch reviews while I get ready for work - admittedly why I’m alllllways late for work 😇
My Pavlova and Macron Amande arrived this week too 💪 Obsessed with the Macron Amande one and do reeaallyyy like the Pavlova one, but it's a teeny bit strawberry sweet. But since they aren't hugely long lasting, they are both very wearable and quite delicious! 😋 Happy to have them now 🙌 xx
Yes I think I'll enjoy a few hours of strawberry but then I'll be done with it, so longevity it ideal! I'm waiting for cooler weather to break out the Armande!
Laguna looks like it is aquatic but it is much more vanilla heavy on the dry down. It takes a while to settle down but I agree with you it is a bit strange 😊
I think it's the powdery vanilla dry down that makes it uncomfortable to me!
OMG I bought Indy on your recommendation and I really like it but I get a blackcurranty vibe (which must be the plum) but I don't get coconut.
I adore Laguna, I still get salty and rose but not pinapple I considered it for my wedding day however it lost out to a Parterre fragrance as that one suited both myself and my husband and we both wore that one instead on my wedding day.
I often wonder as a child I constantly had colds viruses and severe hay-fever which has interrupted my smell as I genuinely do not get notes others smell.
However I'm not offended you don't like Laguna as it's not one I'd offer around.
Also as I got older I've noticed some vanilla and sweeter notes are starting to suit me but I hated them when younger.
Loving perfume is truly a voyage of discovery.

Absolutely! I'm enjoying sweeter scents more and more as I get older! I only ever wore fresh, green, fruity scents from around the age of 18-35, sweet with fructose and never caramel or tonka and the idea of wearing a creamy sweet scent seemed insane! I think my nose and tastes have changed as I've got older, but even more so I've learnt that my cycle changes my tastes throughout the month and some scents I can both love and hate within the space of a week! I do know though, that some vanilla vanilla heavy perfumes just don't work for me. Heliotrope and vanilla can really freak me out and I suspect it's powdery vanilla that I can't get along with!
I love Indi and I know lot's of people don't get coconut from it, but blackcurrant is one of my all-time favourite notes, so I bet I'd still love it if I smelt it the way you do!
I bought the Amande Macaron after you did the short on here and I looked yesterday, it's sold out already! I've also been picking up some maison Alhambra scents form Makeup, theyre so ridiculously cheap, under £12.00 and I really like the Jardin de Paris clone of J'adore. ( Its quite Jasmin dominant thoguh so maybe not one for you). Also noticed that Boum Savon is back, in stock ... I'm so tempted to get the Jean Arthes Pavlova and Boum Savon. I need to stop buying and start using up though!!!! 🙈
Haha yeah they're big bottles too! If only I went through perfumes like RuthAnne does.... she is a master perfume user-upper!
I love Macaron Amande, but I haven't bought Paulova, strawberry notes sometimes smell very synthetic on my skin. If Lanvin Modern Princess smells of red apple, I am in.
@@luisajordanofraga1675 ergh I loooove Modern Princess! Yeah I'm mega fussy about strawberry in perfumes. It seems very hard to capture the natural scent of a strawberry!

Maybe you could email LUSH and ask them if they as a vegan brand avoid using any popular fixative so you can avoid that creosote smell?
I don't get it in Lush thankfully! It's the less natural (as in not essential oils and a short shelf life) vegan perfumes that seem to have it.
