Interesting that you had that analysis of Mandorlo, since their Chinotto di Liguria is almost exactly how you described the Mandorlo. Except instead of fizzy root beer it is based on a citrus fruit (Chinotto) used in a special Italian soda. Mix that with a base of retro Italian cologne. Looooooooove that one. My dream is to find something like it but stronger. Reminds me of a favorite, Eau Dynamisante from Clarins. Btw do you like anything from Issey Miyake? I am getting into the brand lately. Only explored some of their mens. But the woman-targeted line has some very alluring scents, like their recent release Pivoine. Always looking for a good peony.
Lol I was trying to remember the name of that bitter orange the other day when recording my Monotheme book of citrus video and I was talking about the San Peligrino soda 😅 I've never fallen in love with any Issey Miyake until A Drop D'Issey, but the ambroxan in those make them unwearable to me sadly so I had to find an alternative. Beautiful powdery, soapy Lilac ❤. I always wanted his perfumes for the bottles though!
There are a few Glow flankers I wish to buy. 🥰 I don't care for original Glow. My top wear this month is one called Phloem from the house Jorum. I recommend giving it a sniff. And for a niche house the pricing is not outlandish. Love from North America!🙏
I don't like the original Glow either (I don't like it on me anyway, I think it's rather nice on paper so would love it on other people!) but Miami glow is impressive and Blue glow is nice. My fave is actually Love at First Glow as it smells like a rose and peach scented bar soap!

A good chinotto scent is Abaton's Chinotto Gourmand
