Btw great video! Did a good job explaining real world install of this lift kit. Surprised to find a how to video without a white silk floor cover lol

The rear leaf springs. I just used a small Jack to push them up a tad and took the back pins out as well. Like you said I had no room to install the lift spacer as well till put pressure on the spring with a Jack to compress it up an inch

Great video! Is it necessary to take the front cowl off? Mine has a custom front that will be a major PITA to remove.

That's a good question. It's probably possible to have left mine on but, it would have been EXTREMELY inconvenient. Not knowing what type front you have, I can only assume that yours would be as equally, if not more so, inconvenient to leave on.
So, I guess the question is, which pain are you wanting to deal with?
My guess is, taking the cowl off would make it easier than leaving it on.
Let me know what you decided and how difficult it was.

You can def not take the cowl off. It’s simple. You don’t have to do any of this nonsense in the video. Simply follow my directions
      Step 1: go to store
Step 2: purchase non bud light beer
Step 3: don’t do anything to golf cart
Step 4: get drunk af and comment on TH-cam. You’re welcome. Feel free to cash app what you saved 😊

Thanks for the video! What is that cart thing in the front? Is that a kit?

It's a basket. It was on it when I bought it. I've seen a couple others with it. So, I assume they are available somewhere. Unfortunately, that all the help I can be at this point.

Just installed mine and have issues with a lot of noise from the attachment points of where the bolt goes into the ball bearing attachment points for the spindle .

I'm going to put a layer of lithium grease on them and see if that helps , maybe it's just got to get broke in . I just sent it to the shop for a alingment.

That's not good. I haven't had an issue at all with mine. We call ours the "drunk cart" even though we only have maybe 2-3vdrinks a year. We use it quite often.

@@thewayididit6641 ...The shop that is doing the alingment called and said they have to shorten the tie rod . They said they always have that problem with this brand of lift .

That's kinda odd. I had zero trouble with mine. Well, the stock bolts, 2 of them, were 1/2 too short.

I believe that is a 1998 club car ds

The sticker that gives the model and year is shown at about the 1 min mark in the video. I tried to put some text to explain how to read that label but it goes by pretty quick.
It's a 96 ds. You were pretty darn close!!

@@jasonc5779 You're right that is an 8. Definitely a 1998 DS. Not sure where 96 DS is coming from.

It is an 8, not a 6. You are correct, 98. About the year I started losing my vision!🤣
