Hi John, Yep the vernal equinox is a lot colder than the autumnal one, but it was still a good trip - I'm looking forward to your next adventure - Carol and I had a 3 day walk from Taunton up to the north coast of Somerset; which was very sucessful a few weeks back, but we stayed in pubs - its part of my research for the "Lias Way" coast to coast - cheers
