Warsaw made a huge effort to restore Old Warsaw once the war was over. Sad that people in Manila did not try to restore this historical part of Manila. Looks as though it was not considered that important. With its disappearance, an important remnant of Spanish culture in the Philippines was erased.
Yes, it is sad that a part of our historical past is lost.
Felt sad that the Spanish architectural heritage including the churches of Intramuros, Manila was destroyed and never been restored. What desolation city of God.
Just want to point out baligtad ang Santo Domingo Church it should be facing Calle Beaterio the one in the video is the rear part Calle Muralla sharing view with the Intendencia and Plaza España and on the left side is Calle Solana sharing view with Universidad de Santo Tomas, Plaza Santo Tomas and Colegio de Santa Rosa. Just want to share it, your video is impormative to everyone specially the young generations I myself is a millennial but because my course is Architecture I grew my love for our heritage sites here in the PH and in Gods grace and will I might also study heritage conservation so I could take part in restoring, preserving and conserving not just Intramuros but other important sites that are world class. Viva Intramuros! Viva Filipinas!

Ang pinakamaganda sa lahat ang San Ignacio Church. Ang loob nito ay punong-puno ng wood carvings

There is a hope to rebuild the Lost Churches of Intramuros after the completion of Binondo-Intramuros Bridge. The old Customs Building is starting rehabilitation

juan caillan di natin marerebuild yung iba dahil yung ibang place na dating kinatatayuan nila is may iba nang nakatayo, kaya yung San Ignacio ngayon ay ginagawang museum kasi hindi ito giniba noon.
Joram Agpalo Sana gibahin na lang yung mga nakatayo dun ngayon at ibalik yung mga dating simbahan at ibang infraestructuras na nandun noon. Ilipat na lang yung mga nandoon ngayon sa ibang puesto

All of those pieces of history all just faded away. I simply wish that all of them could be restored, but we didn't have a saying in the matter. If places such as Warsaw in Poland can do it to preserve their culture and heritage, why can't us Filipinos also do it?

There is hope. The binondo intramuros bridge is completed. The demand to rebuild the lost churches even at the new locations in intramuros is imminent.

sana ireconstruct yung mga nasirang churches para maging tourist attraction instead of tourist staring at old ruins not knowing how it looked like and knowing its significance to Phil. religious glorious past
