Ahhhh thank you so much for these videos! I’m the girl at 3:01 - Shani from Australia. Teagan and I were on the last leg of our holiday, this was the last full day of our 7 week trip before going home, so we went to dinner that night with a friend we’d made in LA. We were back home in Melbourne by the time this aired and watched it on tv with our families!
out of curiosity: I always thought this show is being taped around 3pm and then broadcasted late late night. how did you manage to make the dinner and a 18hr flight to watch it on air?
That is fantastic haha. You're so lucky. I NEVER watched this show despite loving him on the Drew Carey show. I just started watching clips like a week ago. He's hilarious. Australia is like my dream vacation too. I want to cage dive with great whites and not go anywhere near water in northern Australia. Because fear mongering and salt water Crocs. Ok I'm done. Thanks for sharing this with us!!
Julia Mancuso 17:35 in my opinion got less recognition them she deserved she was amazing and man she looks good here !!! you like going downhill fast ? you are gonna love this show !! craig is the best !!!
@@hastyscorpion I never got the hate. Always loved Ferguson and Colbert, and Corden is great as well. Each of these artists excel because they have a distinct personal style that essentially reinvented late night comedy so yeah.
I love thi love how Craig acts like a detective and talks right to the camera sometimes. Also I’m starting to forget Secretariat isn’t a real horse the more that I watch these.
This is when I started watching the LLS. A friend mentioned a light night show that he described it as "Phil Donahue for stoners". Been a fan ever since :)
When Craig said "We jumped the shark, haven't we?", that was great. I remember when that episode of Happy Days aired. My friends and I began saying that about things, and obviously a lot of other people were too, because here we are more than 40 years later, and it's still being used.
In the last week of the show I think CF said it was long enough. I hope Jayleno Fly is passing some of the revenue to CF and less to CBS. As of Dec 2021 Jayleno Fly has 289 million views, that's worth a lot of money as some of the videos are long. Does anyone know how the TH-cam revenue is split between Jayleno Fly, CF and CBS?
No prepared material, random non-celebrity strangers from the audience and he could still make it entertaining. Craig was the best at this. He could talk about how paint dries and it will be watchable. Man's got charm like no other.
man I cant believe one of the audience is from my country, Saudi Arabia. I thought no one from here knew this show. I found out about Graig through your channel and I will always be grateful to you The JayLeno Fly. Thank you!
Craig is such a sweet guy. Didn't appreciate this show enough while it was on. Was too much about Conan. Could've dvr'd it though. Thanks for posting these.
"Its tweet mail time, time to take advice from a man who'll be presenting this segment under the watchful gaze of Aunt Miriam." This show should have never have died. It was pure fucking gold.
How the hell is Geoff peterson so quick! Did you guys see how fast he came up with that jibe at the clever German letter in the end of the video? "Always gotta take everything for themselves" . I mean that was plain wicked.
Julia Mancuso.......that girl was waaaaaaayyyy amazing........knew the name was familiar.......she won a ton of medals during her career........not sure but think it was like a gold....a couple silvers and a bronze in the Olympics ......and also at least a couple each silver and bronze in World championships.....I ain't really much into sports........but for some reason I remember hearing about her over the years.....this girl kicked ass......and if that ain't enough.......those heels......she's head to toe drop dead gorgeous.......impressive lady
I'm pretty sure the dude in the light blue shirt (with his mum I think?) at around 22:50 is from the Blue Mountain State film. Can anyone confirm this?
I've been going through some of these, laughing my keester off, and have since learned that Ferguson is now back in Scotland. The USA should be ashamed of ourselves, a bit. It's hard not to feel we drove him to early retirement and out of the country, to boot. Sure his peers gave him a pity-Emmy for whatever the hell that briefly-lived game-show was. After that, he even cobbled together a pretty successful podcast, but I knew that wouldn't last because he said more than once he was tired of interviewing people, and there he was, interviewing people again. I think there were some other things he tried, I can't remember. In any event, it must've been galling watching CBS promote the hell out of his late-night replacement, that human teletubbie, Corden, AKA Mr. "Cats" (thought I bet CF laughed at that last bit). Consider the existence of these clips from fans like The Fly, here: CBS is notorious for copyright-claiming everything they're even adjacent to, but they don't care about CF's TLLS. Upload away! (I'm glad, of course, but it's the principle.) HOWEVER, Craig's not allowed to use the robot and the horse, in case he ever wanted to do a little stage or TH-cam revival of the dynamic he had on the show. I mean, Craig even wrote a book called "American On Purpose". He was the most yeehaw Murican we had, with the possible exception of Toby Keith. Became a full-blown citizen and everything. Now, Craig's back in Scotland. I don't know if all this is actually as sad as I'm describing it, but it sure looks like it. Wow, sorry for the length, lol
Craig ,naturally funny, up there with Billy Connolly, and other Scots and Irish ( his family hail from County Donegall ) ,,good post well done, best wishes from the wirral...E

I don't know why I got such a kick from your comment but I did. It's just nice to see someone enjoying a happy memory.

He's Scottish and he escaped to somewhere warm and sunny, of course he is happy constantly. 🤣
Put this guy back on the air - he's brilliant
Craig stepped off of his own will. He just had enaugh
You can only really do this for so long until the magic gets a little less sparkly.
Watch his final week episode with Jimmy Kimmel, he'll summarise why he quit his job
Damn right get Craig back! :)
The Russian guy was fantastic 😂😂😂😂
Yakov Smirnoff is a well-known comedian. Or he was. He's not so well known nowadays.

craig is the best !!!
This was such an underrated show. It's too bad he quit.
I believe they only host for ten years at a time before finding a new host. I miss him too.
@@GenXguy69the previous guy had the job for 7 years
Damn he's crazy. The world needs more Craig Furgeson. CBS give this man whatever he wants to return.
CBS has done a good job protecting us from funny when they hired James Corden.
Whats a CBS? I Have an old Tube TV in the basement, can I use it to watch ? :)
Jason Smith Solid State baby!
please keep corden over there in the USA please
James Corden is a very different flavor. That doesn't mean he is a bad flavor. I much prefer him to Colbert.

SMIRNOFF reminds me of childhood. he is a legend.. Craig is awesome for having him on.
I want Craig back!! Meanwhile thank you JayLeno Fly.

such a talent for making people laugh at almost anything. Craig is missed. no one else currently late nights comes close.
God I miss this guy! The only rewatchable talk show host ever!!
Give us Craig back. You can have both the Jimmys and Corden in return.
29:22 josh robert thompson is a bloody genius

It always blew me away how few people said a simple "thank you" for the free meal. Craig is such a love.

"I should do a game show." He did and won two Daytime Emmy awards for it!
50 secs in and I am already clutching my sides.. Thank you The JayLeno Fly!! You are the awesomest person on the face of the earth
Arnab Chakraborty heyy! Thats a great reaction to receive thank you man! 😀

I have been looking for the clip of the guy saying he was from the bottom part of Scotland for so long thank you for uploading this
Do you think CF actually realizes just how special this show was,
now that he's had time apart from it?
I dont think he knows..but we always will.
I'm sure it bought him a house. So yes. 🤣
Surely he knows

46:39 is the best darn jingle of all time!! As an Aussie, I love it! Why have I not seen it before??
God this was the funniest talk show ever. I wish he'd come back!
What made CBS think James bloody Corden was better than this?
Best late talk show ever!
