It would have been a plus if they didn't use a 40 year old Madonna song in the trailer, but I'll probably watch it - not in theaters, but when it gets released to streaming...
My favorite use of profanity in a movie is My Fair Lady. "Move your bloomin' arse!" is a pitch perfect punchline that was brilliantly set up and brilliantly delivered by Audrey Hepburn.
I was surprised to learn that Emma Corrin, from The Crown, will play Cassandra Nova, the film's main villain. I know you say you don't watch superhero movies. If you haven't read the comics, Michael, let me just explain Cassandra Nova is the twin sister of X-Men leader and headmaster Charles Xavier, who is the exact opposite of her brother and who could make Magneto's misanthropy seem trivial.
Was not actually expecting you to do a review of this, but v pleased. I'm so excited for this movie. Anything Deadpool, I'm there for. Ryan Reynolds has been championing for Deadpool, and campaigning for Disney to remain true to the original content.

Also, before that, you just said it ties into Logan. Doesn’t that mean you knew Hugh Jackman was it? Maybe you’re not the right person to be reacting to this. I’ll bet even Ben Shapiro knows that Ryan Reynolds is in love with Hugh Jackman.
You political “Christians” are so funny to me. One minute you’re doing raunchy, sexually perverted movies filled with profanity such as lady ballers. Then when Hollywood does a movie with profanity in it you’re like “Omg I can’t handle all of this cursing!”
As much as I don't agree with Michael on whether or not superhero movies are trash (depends on which ones you are referring to, lol) or his choice of movies he likes (I wouldn't watch Logan or the Deadpool movies if you paid me, just because I don't care for the amount or kind of violence, strong language, and dirty jokes/crude humor in them; I'd rather stick with the PG-13 MCU), I really just appreciate that he's NOT offensive about it, unlike another Daily Wire commentator I could name. Also, am I the only one who wonders which superhero movie(s) gave Michael a bad impression of the entire genre? It can't be many, simply because by his own admission, he hasn't watched very many at all.

I agree, the only great movies were Deadpool 1, 2 and Logan. I think they aren't showing a lot of the good stuff. Example would be Domino.
Great movie! Many of us conservatives need to stop being such prudes when it comes to fun stuff .
Deadpool is known for his mouth, The Merc with the Mouth, and if you watched Logan, Logan and Xavier cussed like sailors, so Logan is a grumpy dude after losing his world.
It’s a very fun movie
It’s like not having tattoos, not swearing is rebel.
Kind of wanna see his review. It was great
DP went from saving his girl to saving the world in three movies 😂
Maybe you should do some research about Disney buying 20th Century Fox and how this will be the MCU’s first rated R film.
I don't know why anyone would care. If the enjoyment of the movie is mostly meta, then it must be a lousy movie.
4:05 even a straight man like michael is engrossed with hugh's muscles
It's probably CGI.
@@AllenRoberts-ee3qvnah bros actually jacked
Hugh's jacked man
@@Benb1039 And he's natty 😁
It’s cgi
How old are you, 34? You grew up this stuff but you hate it but you’re reviewing it. Stop it! So disingenuous.
Bad criticism. Deadpool IS profanity. There need not be a rhyme/reason, or tactility. I’m psyched about it. love you anyways, Michael.
Christian men should stay away... Deadpool is the new Jesus.
When your started saying your son was transitioning I was glad to hear that it was concerning his bed lol. Much love brother ❤
This dude is such a tool. He tries so hard to have everyone believe that he doesn’t know anything about pop culture.
Heres the deal Deadpool isn't a kids character neither is Wolverine they cus buddy they are Anti-Heros. This movie is for the over 30 comic fan and if you don't like it do go see it. This is a promise fulfilled to us
It's your opinion but honestly this movie wasn't made for people like you. It's fan service to the max
And I personally enjoyed it. But that's okay your more real life structured and nothing wrong with that I'm just saying if your not a fan of comics or comic book movies your not gonna like 90 percent of what comes out. That's just the truth I'm just saying cause for us comic fans this movie has already delivered a lot.
And we enjoy a break from reality
The hashtag for this should be "Michael Knowles' Wet Blanket Movie Trailer Reviews."
This is being made by Disney, Big Boy
It would have been a plus if they didn't use a 40 year old Madonna song in the trailer, but I'll probably watch it - not in theaters, but when it gets released to streaming...
Can someone elaborate. Was that a Sorcerer Portal they jumped through and did that look like the previous Sorcerer Supreme they were fighting?
The cursing is to assure people it will still be Deadpool even though it’s now under the Disney banner.
You can disagree with how much swearing there is in something and still like that thing
Honestly, that trailer was not good, but the movie was
Was not actually expecting you to do a review of this, but v pleased.
I'm so excited for this movie. Anything Deadpool, I'm there for. Ryan Reynolds has been championing for Deadpool, and campaigning for Disney to remain true to the original content.
:40 You thought just the character of Wolverine was going to be in it, and not Hugh Jackman? What are you talking about? Have you been living under a rock for 10 years? And you work in media? Also, before that, you just said it ties into Logan. Doesn’t that mean you knew Hugh Jackman was it? Maybe you’re not the right person to be reacting to this. I’ll bet even Ben Shapiro knows that Ryan Reynolds is in love with Hugh Jackman.
Hugh Jackman ❤
Captain no fun over here
You political “Christians” are so funny to me. One minute you’re doing raunchy, sexually perverted movies filled with profanity such as lady ballers. Then when Hollywood does a movie with profanity in it you’re like “Omg I can’t handle all of this cursing!”
this
As much as I don't agree with Michael on whether or not superhero movies are trash (depends on which ones you are referring to, lol) or his choice of movies he likes (I wouldn't watch Logan or the Deadpool movies if you paid me, just because I don't care for the amount or kind of violence, strong language, and dirty jokes/crude humor in them; I'd rather stick with the PG-13 MCU), I really just appreciate that he's NOT offensive about it, unlike another Daily Wire commentator I could name.
Also, am I the only one who wonders which superhero movie(s) gave Michael a bad impression of the entire genre?
It can't be many, simply because by his own admission, he hasn't watched very many at all.
Deadpool is the real hero fighting back against Disney
this is being made by Disney.
What I meant was Deadpool/Ryan Reynolds haha
@@jorgepinto6452 it's still being made by Disney, they approve of this
