- Us trailer park kids couldn't afford Transformers toys. We had to settle for GoBots. GoBots were basically just like Transformers except they hail from Gobotron instead of Cybertron, and they transform joy into shame.

Oh yeah I remember a boss fight against a giant transformer that was an aircraft carrier, the fight started with him walking all menacingly towards the little island you were on. It was pretty cool until you realised he would just squish you unless you started with the (optional and missable) sniper rifle and picked him off before he got to you.

1) It's great that the less someone knows about Transformers, the more important their questions get.
2) Adam learning the game's driving mechanics feels accurate to a Cybertronian learning how to earth-car.
3) I'm never unhearing that voice for Tailgate.

I played this Transformers game and Front Mission 4 on my PS2 a long ass time ago. This brought back some good memories for me.
front mission 4 is awesome but I never beat that game.
@@InugamiTheHound Front Mission 4 was awesome. If I remember correctly, I didn't beat it either. I believe that I got to the very last level of the game and tried it a few times and got my ass kicked every time. I put it down and never picked it up again. I can't play it again unforetunately because I lost my PS2 memory card years ago that had all of my games on it. I still have my PS2 but no way to save my games. Sucks to be honest.
@@InugamiTheHound Just curious, did you get all of the secret weapons and Wanzer parts in the game? If I remember correctly, I did and they make the game MUCH easier to play.
@@MightyRagnarok I got stuck on a mission that was after tunnel blowing up and I couldn't kill the other team because they were stronger and faster than me. I remember Wagner was voiced by liam o brien.

That transformers game was amazing back in the day. Even though it was a generation that I wasn't that into (Armada), it actually nailed the atmosphere, sound effects and music of the originals better than all other transformer games. The giant sea battle was nuts. I miss that game.

I remember once Funhaus talking about how when you go back to your home town when you're older everything feels smaller if you moved away at a young age. I've always lived in the same place so my equivalent is seeing games I played when I was young. In my memory that Transformers game looked so much better, it's funny how your imagination fills the gaps.
That transformers game and MX Unleashed were some of my most played games from my childhood... What a nostalgic episode of demo disc. If they play Xtreme Express and Seek and Destroy that's pretty much my entire childhood.

The guy playing Optimus is Garry Chalk-while Peter Cullen was Prime in the 80's, Garry Chalk was the voice of Optimus Prime for the late 90's into the early 2000s with Beast Wars, into Beast Machines, and into the Transformers Armada era until Cullen took over again with the Bay films continuing the role into the present day.

Man that Transform game bring back so many memories. Never owned a playstation but my cousin did and I would play the HELL out of transformers. The boss fights were pretty bad ass too.
The voice actor for Optimus Pime is Garry Chalk he was the voice actor for Prime in almost every animated transformers series after G1, beast wars, beast machines, armada, energon and cybertron

That first transformers game was my childhood. Could never best Starscream until I was about sixteen.
The best part of the Rule34 section is Bruce saying “we can show that” and then James says “can we show that” on the next horrific picture, followed by Bruce’s “gross” face. It’s a perfect formula for entertainment
