- The Battle for the Mediterranean is one of the most important phases in a HOI4 Multiplayer game. If the Axis win here, they are bound to be able to win the whole game. A win here in the Med and in Africa allows their back to be safe while they do Operation Barbarossa and fight against the Soviets in the east. But this is a tall task to do and it's not the easiest thing to pull off.
You need naval supremacy, you need a lot of marines and you need a little bit of creativity to win. This is where the Axis minors such as Romania come in. With the power of Romanian marines, Tommy will carry the Axis to a victory here and carry them to a victory in WW2. Egypt, El Alamein, Malta, Cyprus, Crete and Gibraltar. If all of these are taken, there is no way for the Allies to enter the beautiful Mediterranean Sea. The Suez and Gibraltar entrances will be blocked off and Germany will be able to wage a full on battle against Russia.
Will this be possible with the power of TommyKay's Perfect Romania gameplay?

As France holding the Maginot is harder than a lot of the other points. But it is easy to avoid being encircled by having a backup line behind it on the river and mountain.

Paradox: Light tanks + medium tanks + heavy tanks. Effectiveness is determined by armor vs. penetration.... But only allows players to build anti-tank. Hello? Isn't the solution obvious? Light anti tank, medium anti tank and heavy anti tank research and build options. Light, low piercing, low cost, high speed. Medium and heavy change those ratios. Soviet Heavy tank build? Romania heavy anti tank build.

That IMRO thing is not bugged and was never bugged, you simply have to read the decision to the end.
For those who are interested:
There are only 3 tiles where you should put the divisions. And from top-left to right there should be 3-5-4 divisions not more and not less. If you have more divisions left you have to put them into other provinces
it depends how you define bugged, since if it isnt a bug it's certainly bad game design
The requirements are poorly made though, you shouldn't be able to click the decision if your troops are out of place, and it has the standard janky wording that a lot of their decision requirements have just to make reading it a pain in the ass; decision will FAIL if X Infantry Divisions are NOT on Y tile bordering Z country

I don't know the history of the IMRO but there should be a reason why the developers did this like that. But they did this in mandshuko and uk simpler
@@antoniusmaximus7007 it's bad game design because no matter how large or good your army is you will always get 100% attrition. it should just take a set number of equipment, because if you happen to have 24 divisions of supersoldiers from the future you will still take the same amount of damage as if you had 1w anti air doing the same job. i'm not sure if you even need the divisions to be equipped too, theoretically you could just send in divisions with no equipment to do it
I only have 900 hours on Hoi, I never joined a MP game like this before. Maybe I'll try MP now. Thank you Tommy and all the people involved in this.

You can do the bulgarian decision. you have to precheck what the requirements for its continuation are though. the condition is invisible but works. if you have the required divisions on the provinces, and wait the time it resolves and removes the stability malus

Imagine if you had a perfectly ballanced vanilla game.. When is it gonna happen that devs are going to learn to hire Players with thousand and thousand of hours spent in multiplayer exploiting the game in every possible way? They know everything in terms of game ballance while the devs have a narrow minded view of Just "historical accuracy" or Just scratching the surrface with real competetive mp. If they want the game to be fun they should let the ballance be designed by Players that would kill for a properly ballanced multiplayer match. If there is no way to break the game by those Players literally ALL OF THE PROBLEMS dissapear and everybody has fun regardles of skill level. I'm a relatively New subscriber but you make a stranger proud to have found your channel Tommy. Keep it up.
Guys is the Bulgaria attrition thing really a bug? Because when you pick the decision to destroy IMRO you are supposed to get that modifier on Sofia and Plovdiv (attrition). Does it happen randomly or something?
I think the bug is that it doesn’t go away. From my understanding you are supposed to get that modifier for a limited period of time but whatever triggers he modifier going away never fires and you just die
its not a bug, for the skirmishes to go away you have to put your divisions on certain provinces and cities. The bulgarian player didn't pay attention to that and did not read the decision so he failed
@@collegepark301 it is a bug , you can do that , preciscly even, and still it remains. Also i don 't think that failing the excact division count should Make it permanent and instead redet the division.
Tommy kay is the Jesus of HOI4
The Bulgarian attrition thing is caused because the requirements for activating it is lower then the amount of divisions required to keep it going. Hover over it and make sure you follow the higher requirements.
Even though it is definitely wont be completely balanced because this is the first run. This is still the best game!

I would like to see tommy play Russia, cause it seems quite challenging, you need to macro againts 3 player on an enormous line, and you must be able to design proper infantery and proper tanks, this seems interesting.
