The Intercept columnist Natasha Lennard details how the combination of anti-Palestinian, Islamophobic repression and very few worker protections across the U.S. has created a “very dangerous constellation” for academic laborers that is “overwhelmingly only facing pro-Palestinian speakers, not speakers who are supporting Israel’s genocide.” She calls it “the New McCarthyism” on college campuses. “A lot of media attention has focused on the spectacle of encampments and the very, very brutal police response,” says Lennard. “What you also have going on behind the scenes is the targeting of individuals who work at universities."

@michaelgnit8476 The entire story is out. The Chief of Capitol police says it was an intentional setup designed to create a riot. And 2 unarmed female protesters were killed by police. A Thousand innocent peaceful protesters have been thrown in federal prison. Some people were sent to prison who weren't even at the protest. They are attempting to ban their political opponent from running and throw them in jail based on ridiculous arguments. They've gone after all the lawyers and staffers who worked for their political opponent.

For years it's been the case that if you speak out against Israel in the UK your career is pretty much over - the Anti-Defamation League and the League of Deputies (the Israeli Thought Police) see to that. Comments calling this out on TH-cam also disappear very quickly.

He also details in his book the infiltration of the academic field “African Studies” and how it is controlled, not by Africans or African Americans, but by the exact groups discussed in this video.

But they've been listening to them for decades like when they told lies like "super-predators," in the 1990s, or that undocumented/illegal aliens from Latin America and Haiti are rapists and murderers.. But some of these people on the Left came up with their pro-Israel sentiments in the 1970s or during Carter's Camp David peace talks, and are slow to change, and have knee-jerk reactions to defend Israel from any criticism.

These days schools don't teach empirical information so people can create individually within their discipline and earn their degree by excellence. They are taught the party line and buy their degrees with compliance.

I have no trouble with my comments showing up on other videos dealing with different subjects. The censorship began with G@@GI placing arbitrary restrictions on what kind of content creators could upload, then this trickled down to the comments section. Sometimes you just have to reword it. Just keep telling the truth ✌

Universities are only allowed federal funding if they create an environment free from discrimination of protected classes, such as religion and race.
Pro-palestinian protests have always been allowed on campus, but when the protestors take over buildings, illegally camp on the university grounds, and spread anti-semitic and genocidal rhetoric, universities are required by law to enforce federal policy. It's common sense law.

The discussion in this war is absurd.
First. Israel acted selflessly to live in peace with the Palestinians in Gaza. It was more than a decade ago when Israel itself relocated thousands of individuals living in Gaza with lethal force from their homes to follow the agreement, which obligated the Palestinians in return to stop any kind of aggression towards Israel. The Palestinians had the chance to build a safe, functional, and prosperous livelihood. But the first thing the Palestinians did in return was to elect a government that enshrined the goal of destroying Israel in their constitution. The elected government followed through with its promise. Since its founding, thousands of rockets have flown into Israel. Dozens of civilians died in terrorist attacks. Millions of aid funds - intended for civilian purpose - were misused to build rockets, tunnels, and other nonsense. The crimes committed on October 7th like raping women, killing children, or kidnapping a baby, was Humus has been doing for years.
Secondly. Israel behaved more humanely in this conflict than any other conceivable party in any imaginable conflict. It allowed Palestinians to work in Israel, receive medical care or even migrate into their country. During war, they warn civilians where their military is operating. They admit collateral damage and apologize for it. They saved Sinwar’s life giving him a lethal brain surgery. They treated the daughter of Haniyyas daughter for her complex disease in Israel. While Humus was building rockets and tunnels with all the foreign aid, Israel supplied their civilians with free water and electricity.
The situation is clear. In no other conflict the responsibility for the suffering has been so one sided and clear - in no other conflict have the perpetrators been held accountable so weakly. People with voice and power who claim to reject war have the duty to unequivocally name the culprit of this war and do everything in their power to eliminate them. Everything else is responsibility for the resulting suffering and will extend it.
All the paid trolls out again. Gaza and Palistinians have been under occupation and an Apartheid system for years. Checkpoints are all over Isreal. There's huge walls. Who do you think you're kidding?
Israel is very plainly committing genocide against the Palestinians. You complain about dozens of Israelis being killed over the course of decades, meanwhile literally tens of thousands of Palestinian civilians have been killed by the IDF in the last 7 months.
