- In this video on the "Kustorez" channel, my Colleague and I carry out the removal of the old (Sod, Turf) lawn with the help of turf shovels and with the further laying of a new Rolled lawn.

In all my years I never saw how a lawn was rolled out. But now I see you both did a just terrific job. My back would have broken but your young. Thanks for posting I'll remember that little tip about sharpening the shovels. :)

Just curious - can you not rent a turfing machine, that will cut the turf and roll it for you? You save a lot of money, but that’s a lot of wear and tear on the back. Great work!
That's a very small area to put new sod in. I don't think with that area they required a machines help.

Thanks. There was almost no normal grass on the Old lawn, a lot of weeds and moss, so we decided to change it.

Fantastic job. How many meters squared is that lawn - and what are the two things you put down before you lay the new turf, is it topsoil and fertiliser? Addicted to these videos well done!
Good job. But at 11:20 you should have covered the kids’ sandpit with plastic tarpaulin, so blood and bone dust doesn’t go inside with sand. It is toxic to breath.

Can I ask what brand is that flat shovel? I have something similar but the shape and angle of the shovel seem perfect for removing grass.
Honestly, I don't know what brand of shovel it is, we sell them everywhere!

How do you know which one is light and which is darker?

@@kustorez777 I noticed that when you no laid down the turf some of it was lighter color and some was a darker color. How do you know which is one is which so you get a stripe pattern?
WOW Wouldn't a manual sod cutter be easier than shovels?
I think it would be much easier, but I haven't purchased this cutter yet, so we cut with a shovel🤣

Wie macht ihr das mit größeren Rasenflächen? Ist da die Vorgehensweise die selbe? Ich denke bei nem kleinen Rasen wie hier ist es gut machbar aber wenn es sich um eine größere Fläche handelt ist das ein knochenjob, die alte Rasenfläche so mit der Schaufel abzutragen. Gutes Video und schönes Ergebnis ✌🏻

Прошлый газон из за нехватки света плохо рос, поэтому постелили газон который растет в тени!

А так специально кладут газон, одна полоса травы в одну сторону направлена, другая в другую. Газон полосатый, так надо класть или так получилось?
На самом деле без разницы, но мы так делаем что бы был красивый вид какое то время пока не вырастет.

Why would you dig the grass up? Looks OK to me. Nothing a good feed and weed wouldn't cure? Seems a lot of work 🤔
this is what people who dont take care of their grass do. They think digging it up is the way to go. And they will not take care of the new grass and same problem. I bet they wont water regularly...or fertilize.
Why take out a lawn to plant a new lawn?
The old lawn is covered in moss!
