One of the things I like most about watching Stevie Ray reactions? The wonderful genuine smiles on people's faces when they watch and listen to him play. Looks like pure joy. Great job, Stevie. You've done what you were sent here to do. RIP. ❤. ☮️to all. "Little Wing", the El Macombo,

Dude, I'll be honest... Your reaction to Stevie is by FAR the most genuine reaction I have ever seen.
The song ended and all you could do is smile and look at the camera. There truly are no words. He is hands down one of the GREATEST musicians that has ever lived.
His music actually helped shaped my entire life. I was only 2 when he died but my dad played his music all the time and I loved it.

    BEST performance of Voodoo Child!!!

SRV appeared on Austin City Limits twice. This performance was before he got clean and sober. He did this number again in his second appearance in 1989 and I personally like the 1989 performance better. To me it's more powerful. But even saying that, I cannot fault this performance in any way.

He was pretty amazing! Sounds crazy, but you could react to this same song, “Voodoo Chile” from this same place, Austin, but from the 1989 show, and it’s a whole different animal! Check it out! Also, “Tin Pan Alley” with Stevie Ray and Johnny Copeland. Thank you. Great reactions!

This is a Jimi Hendrix cover...but SRV really does a number on it. While SRV's ability may well be unmatched, Hendrix was definitely more influential.

I think the reason the guitar volume is a little higher it because if you notice when he started singing he got some feedback so the sound guy probably turned down the volume of the mic a little to stop the feedback. Possibly

Last night on PBS i watched a Hendrix doc at the Atlanta Pop Festival. I had seen Jimi live in 1969 and then in 1970 both in California. What is the most distinct difference between SRV and Jimi is CLARITY!! To me Jimi was not a very articulate guitar player. He depended alot on the distortion, and actually made quite a few mistakes. SRV though had always played with a tone, you could hear every chord and note! There was ZERO room for hearing sloppy playing or hitting wrong chords and or notes.
