- Imagine my surprise when watching Season 22 Episode 7 of South Park one day and discovering something spectacular. Matt and Trey choreographed the same exact fight from The Incredible Hulk (2008) using Satan and ManBearPig. The attention to detail is microscopic.
At least south park respects this underrated film

It was my first MCU film (I originally wanted to see Iron Man, but the friends I went with already saw it), and I think it's the best Hulk film
I immediately recognized it when the episode aired, and let out a cheer that South Park was acknowledging the most underrated Marvel movie.

It sucks we never got a solo Hulk sequel movie from this, with Edward Norton and his version of the Hulk, since his Hulk is a lean mean rage monster that grew from a skinny guy.
Maybe with him would could have gotten a proper planet hulk/ world breaker story but considering what Disney has been doing it still would have turned out bad so maybe it’s for the best that the cinematic universe hype is dying down. They keep wanting to ride the high from Infinity war/ endgame but they need to slow down and make great characters but idealogy identity politics have seeped into these movies now and turning away the very audience they’ve gained.
@@KyoryuDiabolos I don’t know about Planet Hulk. I didn’t want anything that major. I just wanted a continuation rump were Bruce/The Hulk tries to stop the Leader, fight the Abomination again, and take on some other Hulk baddies maybe even Half-Life and save the world from the Leader’s evil plans of using gamma tech and mutants, or maybe the Leader trying to harness the Hulk’s powers for his own. But like you said, Disney is squandering the MCU with DEI pandering. I still haven’t forgiven for what they did to the Mandarin in Iron Man 3 and Shang Chi with their adulterating changes.
@@kingbeef66 Yeah I’m still bummed out they never did anything with Samuel Sterns being exposed to the gamma irradiated blood that was supposed to imply him becoming the Leader and wanting to evolve humanity with gamma radiation. They did do that in Avengers: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes cartoon but that show got cancelled and got replaced by Avengers Assemble. I’ll never got used to the wings just being a flat decal on Capt America’s cowl. I just liked the wings sticking out.
