But some people (like my father for example) wants a warranty and doesn't like buying used stuff in general. So for those people, a midranger would be the best affordable phone
For a camera focused midranger this is an absolute win, nothing comes close. The only gripe is the performance but yeah for a midranger one must make sacrifices one way or another. It's just that Realme has some of the worst update policy on android. Wish they could fix it, it's not like they release 100 phones a year.

Hope this is the start of a new trent reversal and telephoto bounces back to more midrange phones. They're far useful than macro cameras, and even Ultrawide ones.

One thing I have noticed with the 12 pro demo phone is that, if you use the front camera for video recording and you enable the bokeh feature, it scales down to 720p unlike with our 6pro, if you use the front video camera while having the bokeh feature turned on, it will remain at 1080p.
I have the Realme 12 p+ and you can continue recording while changing from main sensor to UW. That said, quality between the main and ultra wide camera are too different, so it doesn't look too good. (Unless you're recording in bright daylight)
IMO Mobile companies should explore different needs of potential buyers and not make a cut down version of their flagship and sub-flagship phones! Even Samsung with a handful of devices per year got rid of the curved screen on its flagship line due to buyers demands! Maybe a side mounted fingerprint sensor is a box to check! A compact phone is another aspect worth looking into! Nothing in this phone stands out.
A curved screen is the worst idea ever 😖 it just means you can't get screen protectors that fit properly and any case will still leave the screen protruding 😭 was really hoping Realme wouldn't give into that sort of sales gimmick 😢
