JUST THINK YOU SHOULD know, the staff packed 3x the recommended safe amount of cargo on the ship. This led all the cargo to shift to one side. If the staff packed the recommended safe amount there’s a good chance it wouldn’t have sank and those kids wouldn’t have been involved in the tragedy. i truly do hate this captain

I remember this disaster of MV sewol in 2014 but i think supposed to be this The ferry MV Sewol sank on the morning of April 16, 2014, en route from Incheon towards Jeju in South Korea. [16] The 6,825-ton vessel sent a distress signal from about 2.7 kilometres (1.7 mi; 1.5 nmi) north of Byeongpungdo at 08:58 KST (23:58 UTC, April 15, 2014). [17] Out of 476 passengers and crew, 304 died in the disaster, including around 250 students from Danwon High School in Ansan City. [18][19][20] Of the 172 survivors, more than half were rescued by fishing boats and other commercial vessels that arrived at the scene approximately 40 minutes before the Korea Coast Guard (KCG). [21] I'm was sad because MV sewol is sinking due to been properly secured, and a sudden sharp turn that's why what happened to MV sewol (that 304 survivors shall be rest in peace that didn't survive😢) (I'm crying rn but I respect Korean)
It wasn’t just the conditions of the sinking itself; poor kids sense of discipline literally caused their deaths, incompetence of the cowardly captain and crew, add on to the criminally negligence on the government handling the whole situation. Weird to think this is just days away from being the 10th anniversary of the tragedy. Also the ship itself is still sitting at the port that it was towed to about five years ago. It’s pretty much still the way it was when sunk minus a few parts removed, assuming during body recovery.
you can also mention the ship Le Joola which capsized survived 64 the ship was capsized for 2 hours then it sank in the capsized ship there were people they, like in Poseidон They expected help, but soon everyone died like in Poseidon.
It ended up on its side, and was raised three years later. I don’t think that there is a common way for a ship to end up on the bottom. I think it has to do with the way it left the surface and and how deep it sinks.

All of them were a high school students..and the saddest part is the captain left the ferry first and told the students to stay still.
