Hi Tom 🥹💕 thank you for your review! This is my deck and although it might not be your taste I appreciate your lovely comments about my art! I enjoy hearing all reviews and like to hear this feedback as it will help me in my future projects :D p.s the death card is absolutely my favourite card so I’m glad you liked it too xx

This deck is stunning. I bought it about two months ago, and it quickly became one of my favorites.😊❤

I have just received this deck and it's beautiful. The artwork is inspirational and I feel the artists interpretation of the tarot is spot on, uniques and completely guided. I love the hanged man, the death card and the three of swords to name a few. Nice selection a male and female representation within the deck. Gorgeous colours, artwork and beautiful presentation. This artist behind this deck is my fav.

That's interesting what you said about it just as easily being an oracle because the artist does have a couple of self published oracle decks. I have been following her for a while and I really like her art but have never been drawn to own any of it as a deck. She works mostly in markers and I love that you can see the streaks and lines in some of the pieces.
Though seeing this laid out in a nine card spread does make me like it more than I thought I would, it doesn't look nearly as busy as I thought it would.
As always, thank you for sharing your thoughts.

I emjoyed your review. Thinking back, pre internet bookshop times, the selection of decks was such that I never would've expected to see myself or my preferred teenage aesthetic in a tarot deck, tarot was otherwordly. This deck is 100% my aesthetic as a young woman back then, I just wonder if we're seeing a market trend to meet gen Z for whom divination is scary (I mean, the doomed world these kids are inheriting) but who are reading fir identity, to see themselves. Idk. US games are probably not thinking that hard about why younger tarot customers want this kind of deck.

The Minds Eye Oracle -which is not US Games is very similar. As an oracle deck it works well-but I see what you mean as a Tarot deck. My complaint about the oracle deck is the large card size.

Being 36 I’m not the target for MM decks also, lol. Lots of starseed type decks which I’m not at all invalidating but I do feel the consumerism regarding mass market and who they’re purposely targeting is pretty obvious at this point.
I support many creators however when it comes to a lot of MM publishers will make an oracle deck out of toilet paper with keywords like “let it go, breathe, go with the flow and relax” followed by an obnoxiously unnecessarily large book with full pages having all of two sentences on them packed in a gaudy big box for $29.99 and boom, call it a deck and watch the cash flow in.

Artwise I find this deck stylistically appealing. The fact that it's female centric makes me feel intentionally snubbed by the publisher/creator. Also, where I used to enjoy U.S. Games decks, I now dread them, sneakily secreting their copyright info (not removing it, but making it hard to find...it's still there though...don't pretend it isn't). I like two part boxes, but I don't like this new trend of putting decks in larger boxes to accomodate a larger guidebook. Just make the guidebook the same size as standard tarot please.

“I’m clearly not the target market for mm tarot publishers anymore. And those who are, have lives not invested in or connected to divination.” Preach.

Really - one more deck without male representation 🤷‍♀️

This deck does have males the kings, the emperor and the 10 of cups. some characters are also very androgynous. It does have an overall feminine feel but there are a lot of other decks that do have male representation so I would just use those if that what your looking for.
