A lot of addicts trying to get clean just can't deal with the 'boredom' of sobriety and all the regrets of the past and find it almost easier to continue using than to live a sober life. Keeping busy and stimulating the mind is the path to freedom. Easier said than done of course. But at the end of the day if a person is really determined to knock it on the head they will. Just a matter of how long.
Boredom sobriety regrets. I think that is applicable to most of society now. We want instant access and information on everything so we pick up our phones or tablet i.pad or whatever seeking instant gratification.. we swap unknowingly sometimes between what is using.. and what is not using. Understanding the characteristics of our spirit and soul can be confusing for all.

Detoxing of methadone at the minute, the irritation, the restlessness, the sleepless nights etc. It's irrational fear. The best thing I've done for myself was become a member of a 12 step programme. I'll never use successfully again.
Wish I could get my hands on lyrica I'm trying the last few weeks iv relapsed after 12 months I want to stop as you know the whit drawls are very difficult to Goe trough cold hopefully I can get my hands on enough to get me trough the few days of hell that's coneing it's good advice paluy god bless brother
One problem with gabapentin is that in itself is addictive, and the withdrawals are dire, I'm trying to come off it now, originally I took it for back pain, then to help me off the bobby.
Yes bro it will help though ideally you should only take it for 3 or 4 weeks for it to help wean of the phy or the bobby.. best of luch with ur detox friend 🙏
