I really enjoy your videos. Also out of all the people I watch on TH-cam, you are the only one I watch WIP and Chats. The reason why, is because you don’t spend the whole time talking about diamond painting. I really enjoy when people talk about their lives and memories or thoughts. I so enjoy your videos. I like the fact that you talk about diamond painting as well as personal things. I also like that you don’t talk too fast or constantly. You allow for quiet times. That makes it much easier and calmer to listen to. As a retired teacher, 27 of my 31 years were middle school and I can’t tell you how important your messaging and talks with your children about making mistakes was. What I learned the most about kids in that time is they absolutely are watching to see how people, especially adults important in their lives handle things. And they are so smart. People think kids don’t see or understand things when they’re younger, wrong! They do. More often than anything book or education wise, they learn behaviors and form their habits and personalities quickly. Those years are so formative and adults misbehaving and not truly advising them hurt them the most. Biggest mistake adults and parents make is in wanting to be friends with their kinds. Adults can be friendly and kind, but must model and lead for them. Enough of my soap box. Love your videos!
Thank you so much Alicia! I love all your insight on children. Parenting is so hard! Ugh. I try not to talk about parenting to the younger generation because I make it sound awful. It’s not awful, it’s just hard. Emotionally and psychologically hard! The crafting and molding of young minds…it’s just insanity when you think about it. So intricate and powerful. It can be beautiful, painful, confusing and all the emotions. Honestly, I know you’re never done parenting, but I’m glad those molding of young minds years are behind me. 😅😅

I listened to Matthew Perry’s audio book before he passed away and really enjoyed it. I’m not sure I’d feel the same way if I listened to it now though. I was so happy he was on the other side of his addictions. I was shocked and sad when he passed. He worked so hard to rid himself of his demons. On a happier note, your painting is beautiful so far. I’m loving it. Thanks for the wip and chat.
I can totally see how listening to it now would be more depressing. Never thought about it like that. I couldn’t finish it. It made me so sad. 😭

I'm almost finished the DPD Rottweiler for my grandson... typical of DPD, it's amazing!! MAJOR confetti, which I love. I had a happy surprise when I kitted up - really thought I had ordered a round, which I regretted - turned out that it was square 😁 ..I'll try to send you a pic once completed.

Love the tattoo... I've no plans for this holiday but I am still in Colorado visiting with my son and grandaughter. I been here since March 5th I'm leaving April 16th... missing my house and my craft room and my routine.

Hi Kim - I usually diamond paint when I'm listening to your videos. Tonight I did watch and laughed as I watched you multiplace and then adjust each drill ...I do the same thing which makes me wonder if it's actually worth it lol. The difference being that I'm a lousy multiliplacer, you're good. I love the enhancements that you chose for both paintings.. I've started doing that as well !!🤑🤑🤑
Congrats on scoring the pen on Leopard Leatherworks, I ordered my 1st from them a couple of weeks ago and was told that it was shipping this week. After watching you unbox and complete the Giraffes dp from Bella Art, I had to get it lol.. the eyes are awesome.. one row to go! I don't know if you remember me asking questions about your Christmas conversion kit a few months back- after printing the transparency sheets and buying the double sided adhesive etc, I decided to shelve the idea and do the blank canvas instead. The main reasons were because my HP printers (laser and inkjet) would bot allow me to format to 108.1, I could only go to 104.7 before losing part of the pattern. When I tested a few drills, they seemed a little tight. The other reason was, as I had mentioned to you, I was concerned that I wouldn't be able to dry mount it without melting the sheets... that would have been annoying to say the least😱 Glad to hear that you abs Bob are having a get-a- way.. you had a rough start to the year. Hey Wendy! I actually do remember you worrying about the dry mounting. I had fun doing the Christmas project, but I don’t know how soon I’ll do another. I just have so many canvases I’d love to get to. So it’s hard to say. I think a blank canvas is awesome. It’s another type of challenge! And if the printer can’t go to 108.1 I wouldn’t do it either. It would end up with popping drills for sure.
How do you like the giraffe finish?!
I really love the Giraffes but had an issue with the whiskers in momma's chin - they just looked weird to me lol. I ended up removing the longer ones and keeping the shorter ones. I don't know about you but, that's the only thing that bugs me about square diamond painting... the whiskers on animals look weird! I really only care about the realistic looking ones.
Haha I actually liked them lol. Made me want to scratch her chin 😂 but I understand where you’re coming from. I love realistic ones too! So much!♥️♥️

Yes! I think it may have been his dentures? It just didn’t sound like the guy we all grew up with. It was so sad. I also agree with one of my subs, that because I was listening to it after he passed, it made it more difficult. 😭😭
