First thing I have, the trailer is not designed for the load to be dumped against the tailgate with it latched still, that's why it bows it out. If that's what you're trying to do, you need a trailer with a single piece barn door. Secondly, the frame was not built too low. That trailer is a LO-PROFILE dump trailer. Every manufacturer's low profile dump trailer jack sits that close to the ground. Third thing, the paint job is no different than any other manufacturer. I have 2 Load Trail trailers with terrible powder coat that is already peeling. Lastly, for the money, I would much rather have a CAM over any other brands that are priced approximately the same for similar trailers. I got rid of my CAM to get a bigger trailer, which happened to be a Load Trail, which was the worst trailer I probably could've bought. A dump truck serves a sole purpose. A dump trailer is not meant to replace a dump truck, its just a more versatile tool. Only reason I say all of that is I worked in the excavation industry. Have owned a few dump trailers. Know a few people who own dump trailers. Just sharing things I know and have experienced.
I stated it’s probably not designed for that! And I’ve Owned a hand full of trailers not dump but trailers and none I’ve ever seen rust through the paint when brand new. I’ve used other people dumps and they are not that bad and they was far from brand new. I’ve since raised the tongue up and it’s a lot better. And there is no reason the jack couldn’t be mounted a touch higher. But I get what your saying I hope it works out to be a awesome trailer. She pulls outstanding when loaded that’s for sure.

That's real dangerous to stand behind that load. May not look dangerous, but it's an immediate 4k on your legs if it burst through the doors. And it will, eventually.
@@thecheltonchannel5739 The beefier it is, the less load you can haul, so they are trying to build as light as possible. Anyone can build a overkill trailer, but then you'll loose 2k #s per trip..
If you dump a lot that day, your battery will need help n hook up a booster pack to help max out the power of the pump

The Griffen I have is worse then the load trail I also have. Horrible paint job on the Griffen...
That clay is heavier than you think. I felt the same way until I weighed the wet clay. I had doubled my weight 🤣.

If you use metal for your extended sides you can make the sides flush
Yes I’ve thought about that. But that’s kinda on the price side. And I feel like the idea is to be able to replace the side as they get beat up.

in my opinion paints are shit now days , and that trailer floor and side walls are built cheap not heavy duty
