Replace "The Menu" for "Triangle of Sadness"... Anyway, I still got some movies to watch...

I thought Triangle of Sadness was okay but found it unnecessarily long and quite disjointed due to the clear divide in the acts. The Menu in comparison was a tightly presented satire that I felt had a lot more to say. What was your experience? 😊

@@TeaBreakFilmReviews My 'problem' with "The Menu" was that it seemed so... unnatural. Taylor-Joy naturally great, Nicholas Hoult overacting with his sociopathic role, no background (because is not possible), very unreal. "Triangle of Sadness" from the other side, surprisingly different (than I expected from trailer at least), too long (sure), funny. I guess if You prefer more gore, dark comedy content then "The Menu" wins, but overall I will lean to give more credits to "Triangle...".

i must be missing something. i managesd to watch the first 3 minutes of Top Gun. how can it be higher on this channel than idk the rest 10 films? i cant make myself sit to watch another Chalamet film, too many. Batman is superb. Leo Grande is really sweet. Northman is interesting. Bodies bodies..

Chalamet is certainly keeping busy haha but he is wonderful in Bones and All.

You are entitled to place movies wherever you’d like…but Everything Everywhere at number 8!?!! Arguably the greatest movie ever made….
What pulled it down so far down your list…an put Bones and All so high above it?

I loved Everything Everywhere's premise and unique take on the multiverse but the pacing was too chaotic for me, especially near the end when the mother/daughter arc was approaching its resolution. I didn't care about them as much as I think was intended.
I was surprised how Bones & All stayed with me after the end, despite the initial shock. I love a good love story (and metaphor) and this one was as sweet as it was horrifying.
