I've had a Casio CT S1 for two and a half years now, which I bought because of your videos about it. It's a BEAST and I still love it years after buying it. I own other keyboards (Yamaha MOXF8, Casio AP470 and Casio XW-G1) and the CT S1 is still my favorite of all my little collection. I'm serious, I've put this thing through EVERYTHING, I even use it regularly for gigs together with the MOXF8 or the XW-G1 and it keeps to amaze me how good it sounds and feels, even being played among more expensive keyboards. Thanks Jeremy for all these years of honest content! You always help consumers make a thoughtful choice.
@@ita7940 Like I commented to Jeremy and elsewhere several times. The CT-S1 is a gem as is, still three years later, despite some shortcomings for its simplicity, sound, key action, portability and battery power and price. I know even more proficient players like you with more expensive keyboards may enjoy just playing this at home for enjoyment without having to power up or unpack their pro keyboards or rigs, or to travel with if they don't need to bring their other keyboards, just to play on the road, hotel, or do some recording and composing with a laptop.
I got the Yamaha for xmas last year, I still love it
Yes, please do a comparison of the three keyboards mentioned in your review. I have a Casio CT-S1 and Korg Liano.
Thank you for watching till the end. ☺️
Unfortunately it costs 340$ when the Korg Liano costs the same and has 88 keys. I love the CTS1 but if I was in the market I wouldn't be able to justify buying it.
I have a CT-S1 and the original Roland Go:Keys, and think the 76 Key CT-S1 with louder speakers is great. And yes, 76 sound tones would have been nice. But, I agree that the Korg Liano with 88 keys is a better deal, albeit only 8 factory tones, but it's bundled with a huge bundle of popular music software worth much more than the cost of the keyboard.
What would also be even nicer, though not cheap, would be a 76 key version of the Roland Go:Keys 5.
@@jjacob25101 The Korg Liano sounds good, too many models about the same price, hard to make a choice. but i'm curious to get a Korg too.
@@kornygerm What I understand is it has 8 nice on board piano, electric piano, organ, strings sounds, but a whole bunch of music software, plus you can access whatever you have via MIDI, etc.
Love that sound. Bought Yahama EW310 after watching your videos.
That's awesome!
@@JeremySeeA big thanks to you 🙏
Excellent review, as always. 👍
Hey Jeremy could you please make a video featuring the list of songs/pieces you play testing the instruments? Listening to you play those on any given piano makes me buy every one of them. Heck I wouldn’t even mind listening to you play instrumentals all day. 😊
Casio CTS1 is one of my best electronic i ever bought
I have the 61 key model and love it. That keyboard size is ideal for ‘live band gigging’ where space is sometimes at a premium as am sure it will be for many others.
Always a good review though and am sure this’ll tick the box for many players.
i have casio CT1 love portability in hotels for practice .. nice sound and does the job .. light weight and feels good
Yes, we would love you to make that comparison please.
You should definitely play with the new PSR-SX models!
Please compare with Yamaha NP35 and Korg Liano
Can't wait for the comparison
Please post some tutorials on the pieces you make !!! It sounds soo good
Casio cts 1 has great action
Nice glimpse of us at the end
Thank you for watching till the end!
That's such a cool idea.
This 76-key model is very interesting. I hope it will be distributed here in Brazil too.
Good but still waiting for full 88 keys Casiotone
I bought cts1 two years ago and I enjoy playing it till now. Actually it was your review that let me decide of choosing it as my beginner keyboard. 💙 However, i don't know how to record audio from it. If you don't mind, do you have tutorials on how to set up recording to achieve best audio register for social media uploading? I hope you see this. Thank you in advance!
Casio should now make a 76 key PX-S piano with fully weighted keys and so on.
I wouldn’t have minded if the CT S500 or S1000V were only in the 76 key versions. I have the S1000V and like it.
Can you please do a video comparing yamaha psr 670 vs yamaha E473
Great improvements as stated, along with it's shortcomings. The most important shortcomings is the polyphony. My original Roland Go:Keys has 128 note polyphony.
Second is the Lack of split keyboard. I forgot if it can layer sounds. And lastly, why couldn't they have added the dual ¼" audio output jacks? A pitch bend wheel would be nice. Otherwise I would consider getting this and giving my original CT-S1 to a friend. But I would rather keep my original and get the 88 key Korg Liano wirh the huge keyboard bundle once I get a decent current laptop.
But I still plan to get the Go:Keys 5 when does so much, but it would be great if Roland came out with a 76 key version for $600-650.
Hi jeremy thank you for the review. Please make comparison CTS1 76 vs Yamaha NP 35 vs Korg liano thank you
Can you review the sx920 and 720 and compare it to it's previous versions
Yamaha didn't send me review units. I'm just a tiny channel that reviews truthfully
@@JeremySeewhenever you do get your hands on it, it will be great if you can do a comparison video of the sx720 and sx900 as it's at a similar price range and I'm confused between the two.
Hey Jeremy 👋🏼
Yamaha P-225 vs Kawai ES-120 vs Casio PX-3100. I'm curious to hear your thoughts on how these models compare in terms of key action and sound quality through their onboard speakers. Thanks!
You make me want ALL the keyboards! 🤓
You ask if I want to see a comparison video of the 3 keyboards? Of course! No brainer.
With Yamaha discontinuing the p121, it looks like there is not a single hammer-action keyboard with less than 88 keys under $1000 (Studiologic 73).
Hey Jeremy, I'm getting a Casio LK-218 (used) for 145 USd, I found your video on this keyboard but didn't find.
Could you please tell me, should I buy this or not ?
Should I regret buying Yamaha e383 instead of this(61 version)??😢 I got Yamaha 2m back
I recently bought a secondhand CTX700 because of your reviews of it. Much more better than legacy Korg X5D I had.😅
How is going for you? i wondering if increasing the budget would improve my experience or sticking to something under $300.
@@kornygerm CTX700's particularly made for beginners looking for great enough sounding engine. AiX sounded really made difference. Hundreds of voices are included for you to enjoy. But if you're looking for dedicated piano/organ sounds with minimalist form, CT-S1 is a fantastic choice.
@@kornygermthere is a newly released from Yamaha PSR line, your 300usd is more than enough. Happy keys shopping!
is Casiotone
CT-S1-61 still worth it cause I was planning on buying it then I stumbled upon this video but this model is not available in india , and since I'm newbie so what do you think I should do cuz, I really like this piano design.but I'm not really someone who knows about piano since I never played in life but I'm determined to learn.
Lazada?
Are you from Philippines?
Did you ever trie EA7 Roland keyboard???? I know you have been doing videos forever and I didn't find your review on this one. I don't want to waste my money as it is above 1000 euros, so I was just wondering if you ever thought about that keyboard or tried it.
Wanted a full review of FP-10
Reviewed. Search.
Hey bro is Casio ctk 3200 still available
You play real pretty jeremy
SUPR ROCKIN 🎹🎹🎼🎶
Which song was played at the start?
I think it is "misty"
That’s the only thing I don’t like about the Casio tone keyboard’s is the headphone output jack ☹️
As you had done for the launching of the PSR SX900/700 series some 4 years back, I'm waiting when you will do a review video for the new PSR SX920/720 now!
Unfortunately, I'm just a tiny insignificant channel and Yamaha didn't even send me an Invite to the launch 😂
Roland GoKeys 3, thank me later. 😮
Why don't these keyboards come with a modulation lever, even if it's small? Without a modulation lever, the ability to choose it or work with it in creating music is almost totally reduced, with the number of mediocre and cheap controllers on the market, buying one of these keyboards would be the solution to so many low-quality keyboards full of plastic and of poor quality in its construction BUT WITHOUT MODULATION LEVER OR WHEELS THEY ARE NOT A GOOD OPTION unfortunately
homework for yamaha, casio, korg etc: PUT A MODULATION LEVER FOR MUSIC CREATION ON ALL YOUR KEYBOARDS, even if they are pianos like these oriented for pianists, YOU WILL BE ABLE TO PUT THEM ON THE MARKET OF KEYBOARD PLAYERS MUSIC CREATORS, AND SALES WILL INCREASE A LOT, since that's basically all they care about, right?...
