Good base design. It's a bit expensive though considering that it takes 6 C4s to reach the central foundation where the tool cupboard is placed. So I was hoping that you'd utilize some triangle foundations to double the strength of the base. Also place the main TC on the top floor, and add more on the lower floors. Obviously base strength isn't only about the size of the base, but also how easy it is to reach the tool cupboard, and this is especially important with water bases since players can't boost up to higher floors. The initial building phase could have been made shorter, as you did later in the video. But thanks to youtube 2x speed option, I didn't have to watch the whole upgrade process in the normal speed. I see that you built compartments to possibly split the loot, which is something I highly recommend and consider necessary in every base design. Finally, I might have a better idea for entering/exiting the base. You can either build a 2 story tower which connects to the base through a twig floor which should be destroyed when logging off. But this also doesn't solve the issue of having to build a twig stair to go inside the tower in the first place. The better idea is to place the main door on the second floor. From that door, build a 1x1 room that extends outside the base, with a ladder hatch facing the water. Now when you approach the base, you can open the ladder hatch while swimming and climb up to the base. The main door on the second floor will act as an airlock in case someone kills you after opening the ladder hatch. For this to work, adjustments should be made on the height of the foundations to make sure that the ladder hatch is reachable from water. Keep the good work up. Cheers.
+aouni84 I tried the hatch thing and its not possible to reach the hatch while swimming to open it. Your first floor would have to be under water OR leave your hatch open when you leave...
I preffer a water base that is not in the mini map range (i play on modded server) so ppl wont come to raid me. Its hard to build but worht it and if u get the woundations to the perfect level its uraidable if u have turrets etc. Thy can blow up the pillars but not get loot.
They are going to hawe building privliges under water, why not place the tool cabinet under water and why would you want all ur chest on the botoom floor?
To disguise the ones that lead to the real hatches above. The fake hatches will get attention, the real ones won't, because there are boxes everywhere.
anyone can build a great base on a creative server. that base is unattainable on a average pop server. if you are going to make a base that big it needs to be modular something you can build then add to. that base was only safe one you built the tower. useless

how are you suppose to build big bases like this when ur on a server with like 100 people
have an other base with the resources needed and weapons (sniper probs for this base , but everything is ok) and set out to build your base

Foundations don't decay if you open doors because opening doors resets the decay, so only if you are inactive, it will decay. 1.5-2days of inactivity
